Weight is just one factor, If your clothes are looser and you're more toned, it means you're heading in the right direction :)

As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder for years - shut up, this message is terrible.
-
It sounds tough. I wouldn't be able to do it on my own if I were you. Have you had any contact with a dietitian lately?
-
I'm pretty new here and would like some new friends (mostly interested in people at my age, 18-30).

You don't have to lose weight! You're right, there's no such thing as spot training, but strength training can still do wonders to your belly. And you won't look overly toned unless you lift a lot - you're a women after all, it's difficult to get rid of the body fat  maybe start with that, and if you're not satisfied…

"Can fat people find love?" What a lovely world we live in. :drinker:

Why Did You Do That

I deal with anxiety on a daily basis, recurrent depressions (possibly bipolar 2) and an eating disorder. Add me if you want support - I can't promise that I'll accept you though, I have to be pretty careful with who I add, but you can always talk to me!

I bet you're not as 'wrong' as you think you are. We can always try to make the best of what we have, take care of ourselves etc., but it all comes down to how we feel about ourselves. I know it sounds like a cliché, but you can really see the difference between someone who believes they're good enough and someone who…

If you're breastfeeding you should probably eat more, since you need some additional nutrition
-
Heeeey, why aren't ALL my friends here?

It's so motivational to hear other people's stories! It's encouraging and gives me the feeling that "I can do this too!". So thank you for sharing this with us :flowerforyou:

It depends on what your body wants and needs. And how you define 'thin'.

I want my friends to look at me and think "she's epic".

I'm not sure whether I would like to look like her, we don't have the same body type, but I swear she's the sexiest woman out there: Jennifer Lawrence!

This. Some people want to eat doughnuts. Some people would rather have cookies or cake than fruit. Let them eat it. It's their lives. Of course this can be a difficult thing to deal with, but it's still your own responsibility to make sure you don't eat that doughnut if you don't want to eat it. I'm all pro healthier…

Croissants or scones. Delicious

Oh wow! That's very impressive!

Sometimes I don't wear a bra because my boobs are so small that it doesn't matter anyway

White wine.

From what you're describing I would say yes. It's always difficult when the person is an adult - there's not much you can do really. Personally, what helped me was that people didn't give up. They kept telling me that I was underweight, ate too little, rarely smiled, had stopped doing things that I used to enjoy etc. I was…

Do what makes you happy in the long run.

Oh, do you really want to know?

I'm in recovery too. I'm always looking for pro recovery friends  It motivates me to talk to people who've gone through similar stuff and who have the same goals in mind.

I'm a cottontail rabit haha  Nursing, hiking, flirting, volunteering and camping is right! Cool :smokin: :smooched:

I know I don't have the same problem (anorexia restricting type) but there are still occasions when I binge, although it's rare. But there are times when I feel like I'm binging (sometimes when I eat a normal amount of food or slightly more it feels like a binge because I feel out of control). Tracking can sometimes help,…
