  • I haven't spoken to my MIL for 2 years since she was rude to both me and my husband (her son), she then threw us out of her house. Everyone present at the time agrees that she was out or order but refuses to apologise so neither my husband or I or our 2 children have had any contact. Even before this event she was always…
  • Have you thought about a personal trainer for the next few weeks, they will push you harder than you do normally yourself and will help you to work on the areas you want to tone up.
  • Good luck Tina, I was also on Nutracheck so I recognise you from there. This site is great, just like NC but Free!!!
  • Hi, I am from Milton Keynes. I started 2 years ago with 2 stone to lose, I did it after 18 months and then put some back on. I found this site by accident in January and have lost 6lbs so far, hopefully will have lost another couple this week, so feel free to add me.
  • Pilates is supposed to be good as it works your core muscles also TRX suspension training, I have the same issue and my PT suggested TRX, 3 sessions so far so no results as yet.

Last year I got down to 9st 12lbs and I was happy but still classed as overweight acording to BMI, i like you think 8 st would be too low, I think as we get older we need a little extra to pad out…
  • Hi, I know exactly how you feel, I have been stuck in the 140's for sometime, going up and down. I lost 28lbs last year, but put 7lbs back on over the winter, so I joined here 3 weeks ago. I found that going back to basics was what has really helped me, weighing everything as over time my portions had got slightly bigger,…
  • Hi, I'm in Milton Keynes, feel free to add me.
  • Thank you for all your responses, ive changed settings so diary can be viewed, looking at carbs, they do seem a little high on some days, but I do burn off quite alot on the days i'm at the gym. I guess this is going to be a slower processs to lose the last 7-10 lbs than it was to los ethe first 25lbs.
  • Well done on trying running, I love it. Have a look at podcasts on the internet that are for beginners, search for Couch to 5K, they do runs by weeks and build up to running about 5k in 10-12 weeks.
