I don't mind if you share on facebook, that's where I originally got it from!

Holy moly! I had no idea that a sleep drug could do that, thanks so much for the warning! In the hospital if a patient is having trouble sleeping, sometimes they will give them Benadryl. But most sleep aids can be addictive if taken for longer periods of time, even Benadryl. I am so sorry to hear of your terrible reaction,…

It could be as simple as your body trying to counteract the effect of losing weight. When you are losing weight, your body is going to try to conserve or replace that energy by increasing your appetite, making you tired (so you won't burn as many calories), etc. I find myself alternating between full of energy at odd…

Blerg! I've tried about 5 times to post a pic, and I cannot get it done properly. https://picasaweb.google.com/103838090709377729911/WeightLossMotivation#5706954790454049970

I like the Zone Perfect bars, they do have 200 calories but taste good IMHO and roughly 14 g. protein. I've tried the FullBars and they are nasty, nasty-tasting.

I do believe it is as simple as calories in/calories out, BUT hormones will also play a temporary role. Leptin, which is produced by fat cells, normally causes a certain amount of satiety--> feeling not hungry. The more fat cells, the more leptin is circulating in your body all the time. Reducing those fat cells, reducing…

Never give up on your fitness because of the time it will take to achieve your goals. The time will pass anyway. Quitting is not an option!

I have to weigh in at night.... 7 PM. After weighing myself sometimes morning and night, I almost religiously gain 2 lbs. of water weight over the course of the day, and magically lose it the next morning. It's frustrating to weigh-in at 2 lbs. heavier than what I consider to be my "true" weight for the day, but really,…

I definitely see the difference! Keep up the good work. From the side, your backside looks slimmer (woohoo!) and from the front, your waist is smaller.

You look fabulous, and congrats on your weight loss! I'm 5' 8" and I'm going for 165, I got down to 160 at one point and my husband was concerned I was getting "too thin". But everyone is different and I'm big-boned. ~Jess

Legally, there isn't much you can do. But as a neighbor, you can certainly step up to the plate and go have a chat with the owners. Bring over a cake or something yummy so they won't hate you. :^) You could tell them you have a friend who is interested in getting a German Shepherd, ans ask them for more information about…

My son is in the "perfectly healthy weight" range, and the WiiFit board usually goes "ooooooh" for him, too. Every once in a while it will do something different for me. But I am excited to see my BMI dropping, I can't wait to get down to the "overweight" range! Congratulations, keep up the great work! ~Jess

Look at the foods you are eating. Some things are much higher in calories, perhaps you can substitute lower-calorie foods? For instance, if you are snacking on nuts, they are very high in calories and maybe you'd do better with a cheese stick? Be sure to eat plenty of protein to keep hunger at bay. I eat every 2-3 hrs now…

My spouse insisted on joint finances when we got married. I kind of wanted my own little "nest egg" but now I'm glad we are together on this. He pays the bills, I do all the housework, childcare, etc. I am a SAHM. If you are not married, then I would definitely recommend separate finances. And if person A keeps throwing it…

Of course you can still drop pounds! The Laws of Physics still apply: To lose weight, you must burn more calories than you take in. Period. I have a friend that's a quadriplegic, she used to be a runner. We talk weight loss all the time, but it's far easier for me--- not because I can exercise, but because I can log…

No experience with those particular antidepressants, but the Laws of Physics still apply: If you burn more calories than you are taking in, you will lose weight. Did you find the meds increased your hunger? Were you sneaking calories you weren't logging? Didn't feel like exercising any more? Some antidepressants have…

Right now it's Cadbury Creme Eggs. The darn things are on sale this week and it's almost killing me not to go buy them! But if I buy them, I will eat them... Also French bread.....

You don't need to muzzle them, if you just glue their butts together. They can't bite each other that way. On the other hand, they can still bite you.....

My Giant schnauzer, Atlas. He makes me happy. I also have a Giant named Phoebe. Plus two gerbils, Cinnamon and Spot. ~Jess

I hope that cat is a Maine Coon, otherwise I'd have to say it looks like it ate your other 2 pets! (No offense meant...)

Hehehe nothing in common here, except our names start with "J", we're both female, and we're both in the first 10 lbs of our weight loss! Good luck on your journey, every once in a while they post "Twins" threads, where you can find people that are your "twin" in terms of height, weight, and loss goals. Welcome! ~Jess

I think I'm in love with this woman! Whew, that sounds SOO good! I've found that if I'm getting enough PROTEIN I don't crave the sugar nearly as much. I have to be careful about your sweet tooth: once I start, I cannot stop. I LOVE the Zone Perfect bars (Chocolate mint and Choc. caramel cluster) and i have one every day,…
