Hey, I was doing a linear programme 5x5x5x3x8 now Im on a three day split 5-8 reps. My personal trainer has set these programmes for me and I am so loving it. I have noticed some changes in my core, have shrunk somewhat but still have a belly lol.....good things take time hehe

Sounds like you have torn a muscle, might only be a slight tear but be careful and rest cause if it turns into a bigger tear you could be out for much longer. Do use Ice and rest. Also check your technique maybe pull back on the amount of weight you are lifting for a couple of workouts aswell. Of course if the pain is…

I think people are grossly over estimating. I might do a Les Mills Body Combat group fitness class where I am busting my butt. I can burn between 400-500 cals in 50 minutes. Im 213lbs!!

I took a high dose of fish oil for a couple of months with no noticeable change. Thinking about taking Berocca daily now though, that has Vit B, Vit C calcium, magnesium and zinc. All in one pill.

How about exercising more or what I do is log it before I shove it in my mouth :) I tend to compare how much things are calorie wise for snacks etc :)

I have lost 4 pounds since January 2nd. I did take before pics which I was very thankful for when I updated those photos recently. I look like Ive lost a lot more than that thanks to lifting heavy :)

I measure and take pics more than I weigh. When I do weigh the number doesnt affect me like it used too. Can see the changes via photos and measuring.

On lifting days I have to eat more. I bump my intake between 300-400 cals. Tiredness was also a factor when I started out but your body does adjust to this and moves more towards muscle fatigue *sighs* hehe

Up in a pony tail or if Im doing a class then in a messy bun cause Ive actually flicked myself in the eye with my hair in a ponytail....PAIN PAIN PAIN lol Oh dear not pleasant! I sweat alot too Dont want that icky feeling when hair sticks to your face.

You can get resistance bands and use those outside of the gym lots of exercises to choose from online too.

Wait till the day after the day after....DOMS can be worse 48 hours after lifting. This is all normal. Try and keep moving regularly cause the longer you sit the worse the stiffness feels. Well done on starting your routine!
