During summer break I exercised first thing in the morning every morning. Now that school has started back I am struggling to get it in. I do have to do it in the evening if I can get it in. Trying to do it every other day.

My doctor said it was enough for me though I'm doing 1270 right now. It is very tough in the beginning. I starved all the time. Now my body has seemed to adjust.

To enjoy shopping for clothes instead of it being a chore. To do things with my teenager like riding horses. To be healthier. Finally to look good driving my Challenger, not an old fat woman. :):smile:

I have about 1200 calories a day. The weight loss has been steady with 1-2 pounds a week. Of course sometimes I would gain from the weekend and then lose the next week. I use Mio. Helps me drink the water I need each day. It's easy to carry out to eat.

I have scales and do weigh some things. I also measure my food at home. However we do eat out a lot so I can't always measure my food. I just make good choices when we are eating out.

I have a Sole Elliptical. It has been a wonderful piece of equipment with no problems. I use it when I can't get out to walk in the colder months or rainy days.

I weigh in daily too and am not ashamed. It lets me know where I am and what I need to do on a daily basis. I do hate the monthly. I can gain three pounds easily. Do what's right for you.

I drive a 2010 RT Dodge Challenger in B5 Blue. I LOVE my car. It turns heads everywhere I go. I can't see myself ever getting rid of this car. It is my midlife celebration for sure.

Lose at least 5 pounds to reach my goal. I gained some the last few days so I have a little more to lose than I did this time last week. :( I start back to work after the summer break so I'll have to work harder to get in my 7 day a week workout.

My favorite is with peaches of course. But I think I have a recipe for lasagna that uses cottage cheese. I'm sure it's loaded with calories.

I have the same problem. Sadly until they want to make a change there is little you can do. I do fix healthier meals and put them on the table. I'm 5'5 and set my goal for 150. But as I get closer and look at myself I'm thinking of trying to drop down to 140. Of course I'll have to keep that to myself as my kids think I'm great where I'm at. :happy:

Yes my husband knows. I share my ups and downs on the scales with him. He loves me whether I'm bigger or smaller.

Been there done that several times. You can lose it again. I swear I'm not gaining it back this time. I get so tired of battling my weight. But I think that will always be my life. Eat smart and exercise a lot.

We eat fast food some. But I make the best choices I can. If I want fries my family will give me the few that satisfy my craving without blowing my diet. Yes, it is hard to watch them eat some of their choices but I'm doing what's best for me.

I have a nice elliptical. I love it but it does take up a lot of room. During the summer months I prefer to go out and walk. When it gets colder I use the elliptical more.

I weigh every morning first thing. I know my weight can flucuate so I expect that. If I lose I enter that weight. If I don't I really watch what I eat so the scales go down. I know you shouldn't weigh every day but I have to.

I agree that you have to really control what you eat during the summer. I do tend to lose during the summer and have lost quite a bit this summer. I love having the time to workout every morning.
