Ha! Ali, I was just coming on here to message you, since I've heard you mention your HRM before :) Thanks for the feedback, guys. I think I'm going to go with the F4, since I like the color choices better (how girly of me) and it's less expensive. Do you guys use any apps on your phones to sync the info? Do you sync it to…

Rolemodelmom, I've got even more than that to lose, so don't feel discouraged! It might be daunting, it will definitely be challenging, but it's absolutely and totally worth it. We can do it!

Thanks, Jennie. I think you're right--a decent snack before and then a lighter, protein-based dinner after is what I'm going to stick with. Thanks everyone!

I have my blog (mandakaymakesit.wordpress.com) which is totally helping me stay accountable, as I know family, friends and all you guys read it. It also allows a great place to vent and share my experience with others going through the same thing. I'm hoping to be at 100 lbs lost by the end of September for my birthday.…

Anyone else out there? We got a good little group so far!

Thanks everyone! I've added you all. Feel free to reach out to me if you need support, motivation, tips, etc. I also have a blog at mandakaymakesit.wordpress.com. Looking forward to cheering you all on!

I'm not as committed to working as I should be, so #10 is drawing on my high school athletics days where we did two-a-days--two workouts a day, morning and night. I'm adding to this by throwing in a .5 (can't get too sweaty during work! :)) workout during my lunch break--a quick walk, some free weights, etc.

I spent a semester in South Africia in college and would love to go back--that's my goal once I hit my goal weight (145 lbs to go!) and maintain for a bit. I also want to go somewhere beachy...either coast would work for me or--my dream--Fiji or Hawaii.

Use PB2 sparingly (a little does go a long way!) and start using full fat (albeit natural) peanut butter. The fat in any sort of nut butter is the good kind of fat. Heart healthy and all that :) Eating healthy is not more expensive than eating junk--don't buy into that! I choose generic brands (if I trust that I'm not…

Thanks! Love yours, too--especially your latest post about cutting out the toxic stuff in life :) Keep up the good work!

WATER! Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate. I replaced all my drinks (save almond milk, green tea, and coffee) with water. I (and a lot of others) do a gallon of water a day. Have a big glass first thing when you wake up. You start the day out right, get your metabolism going right away, and it actually does wake you up some.

I like them for the low-cal aspect. Taste-wise, they're great--especially the balsamic and caesar versions. However, if you're trying to focus on eating more natural, less processed foods, I agree, make your own. Use plain old balsamic vinegar, or mix up a little lemon juice, olive oil, and dijon mustard with salt and…

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the feedback! I think I'm going to try bumping up to 1,800-1,900 for a week or so and see if anything happens. I'll also plan to take a "rest" day--not really a rest day, but definitely a day where I do something much less intense that the other 6 days of the week. How do you guys feel about…

I'm 27 and 5'11. I've been stalled for about 2 or 3 weeks. I'm thinking upping my calories a bit may be helpful. Maybe I'll just play around with and see what works? Try 1,800 for awhile? The thing is, I'm never really hungry eating only 1,500. I space out my meals/snacks (I do 3 meals and 2 snacks) so I'm basically…

Feel free to add me--I've lost about 45 lbs and have a looong way (150 lbs) to go!

I think so. I mean, my clothes are definitely looser, I feel physically stronger, I'm making huge improvements in my confidence levels, etc. But still. Those pounds need to come off. And they can. I just don't understand why I've plateaued and what I can do to push past it.
