  • saute it with onions. salt and pepper to taste n spinkle with parmesan cheese YUM! or you can slice it, boil it until semi soft and put some cheddar cheese on it.
  • so amazing!!! great job!!
  • Just had our 3rd baby 3 weeks ago today, and would love some more postpartum friends!!! I gained about 28-30lbs with this baby. Lost 20lbs right away, and still have about 23lbs to go before to get down to my ultimate goal weight. Add me!
  • 5'7 2.5 weeks Post Partum HW (during pregnancy) 178 CW - 158 UGW - 135 ADD ME!!!
  • a hot beverage....tea, coffee even water. Also increasing water intake sometimes works.
  • Seriously give it a try. I did 3 things differently this pregnancy compared with my other 2. I stayed more active...I ate dates & I built up to drinking 3 cups of Red Raspberry Leaf Tea a day ( started at 30 weeks). I'm not sure which was the most helpful (thinking probably the tea) maybe a combination of the 3, but I had…
  • I actually started this challenge yesterday. Did my 50 yesterday, felt great...woke up this morning and OMG my legs were killing me. Pushed thru and did my 55 today, and I can't even walk right, lol! @marapp - don't guess you would have to? But that's how I'm doing them.........
  • I think 2 - 2.5 years is perfect. My sister and I are almost exactly 2 years apart and we had a great relationship all thru our childhood and even now. My oldest two are 17 months apart....while they have a great relationship it was/is really tough, almost like having twins. Our newest addition is a week and a half old and…
  • Age: 25 3 kids - 4, almost 3 and a 2 week old ht: 5'7 sw- 180 cw-158 gw- 140 or 135 add me!
  • congrats everyone!!!!!!
  • Hang in there all you June mamas to be!!!!! My DD was June 1st, delivered May 22nd :) Just when you think you can't do it anymore, and you can't stand one more second worth of peeing, or one more sleepless night....it'll all be over. So rub that belly & try to enjoy it for a few more days...you're in the home stretch!
  • @flying - my baby's movement slowed down a couple weeks before deilvery. There were no more large movements, just nudges and little knobs (knees, feet etc) that would move around my tummy. There were several times it kind of freaked me out. I followed the suggestion to drink something cold, lay on my left side and…
  • It is so weird! We were definitely made to forget, otherwise the human race would have ended LONG ago! You're birth story is amazing. I can't believe after 2 hrs of being at 10cm that you managed to make it with no pain meds. That is INCREDIBLE! If I had stayed at 10cm any longer than the 10 minutes I was there they would…
  • I have a down moment so let me share our little birthing experience!! I had been having BH contractions off and on all day Monday (20th) after I had cleaned the house, and even timed them during the evening but at 20+ minutes apart knew it was nothing to get excited about. Tuesday (21st) super sleepy, grumpy, all day.…
  • Hello all!! Tatum made her appearance on 5/22 at 3:59am. We're back home today :) Yay for less than a 36hr hospital stay, and a super healthy baby and mommy :) Will fill in birth story later!! Good luck everyone!!
  • The good news about having so much bowel distress prior to full blown labor is I didn't poop on myself during delivery. I'm due June 1st, but the June board has been essentially dead for quite some time, and I don't feel like missing out on the camaraderie over a day
  • Totally understand the worrying. I'm a week and a half from my DD with my 3rd, previous 2 were head down for the longest time. This one didn't go head down until 36 weeks, which made me really nervous... I did go to spinningbabies.com and tried the exercises (as I cannot stand the thought of a c-section) I dunno if the…
  • @Ruby - I think this was directed at Rebecca, but since I mentioned the crampy issue as well I'll elaborate. Crampiness has always been a "sign" for me. My daughter was born on her due date, and the entire day before her delivery (excuse the TMI) I alternated between feeling like I was about to start my period or feeling…
  • Nothing thrilling here. I've got lots of lower abdominal pressure, and I'm crampy like before I start. So I know I'm gearing up for baby's debut, but nothing to rush off to the hospital or call the Dr about. My next appt is Friday (assuming I make it until then) guess I'll find out then if all this pressure has…
  • Well anyone?! Anything going on at all? I'm a big whopping nothing on that. Though I did take it way easier yesterday than I have in a long time...maybe if I forced myself to be active something would happen, but what a chore!!
  • @LadyJocc - I would be FURIOUS!!! LIVID!! Pissed even....and I'm pretty sure I would let her know just how peeved I was. I am so sorry she's done that to you. How unsettling right before an impending birth!
  • Just thought I'd check in to let everyone know how my Dr appt went! I'm making progress!!!! Last week I was barely 1cm and hardly effaced. This week I am a good 2cm, over 50% effaced & midwife said baby's head is right there and fully engaged in the pelvis. So yeah that's exciting. Although I'm fully aware that I could be…
  • I'm with the others...how did you do it?!?! We're the same height, and I'll probably weigh about the same as your starting weight (after this baby comes in a couple weeks) What was your calorie intake/exercise regime?
  • Congrats!!!! A 3 hour labour = AMAZING!!! I can't even imagine! My shortest was 6 hours! I also can't imagine an all natural birth...I try every time and every time just can't take it. WAY TO GO! Can't wait to read your birth story.
  • I'm still here....hanging around...super irritable this week, especially the past 2 days. As in, EVERYTHING makes me mad. My poor children :) My 38 week appt is tomorrow afternoon, so maybe some progress will have been made. I'm thinking I should at least be at a 2 by now.
  • YAY!!! Finally another birth story :) Congrats! Glad everything went well & he's eating well!
  • I wouldn't advise buying hats for a summer baby. My son was born the end of July, hated hats and it was just entirely too hot! My daughter was born in Feb, and hats still weren't a go to item for us.
  • We found out in Dec, and only told my mom and sister who were sworn to secrecy. I'm due in 2.5 weeks, and so far so good. I have accidently slipped with gender reference in front of one of my aunts who has kept it quiet...(I think) So it is possible to keep it quiet if you want, but definitely not a popular…
  • @prplrose - not only do we share the same due date apparently our bodies were in almost identical phases at our Dr appts last week :) I was 1cm, and she didn't even give me a percentage on effacement except to say it wasn't much.
