The amounts are in the formula for proper hydration. 130 ounces is right for me it would not be right for you since you are smaller. Take your weight and divide it by 2 and that is the a good guidline for YOUR proper hydration. The standard is 64 Ounces of water but agian that is not right for everyone either.

Thanks!!!!!!!!! I don't mind getting feedback from folks but it does get aggravating when people try to say something negitive and have lost like 9 lbs. or something like that.........I think I have something of value to say that I have been through personally so hopefully it helps someone out there.

Very true water aphixation can be very dangereous that is why I metioned don't drink it all at the same time lol. However most Americans do not drink enough water even if they look healthy and fit so drinking when we are thirsty only has been proven for years not work. Its just like our diets, we have to work on them and…

Nope the orginal formula is calcuating loss from sweat from working out (Aprox. 2 hours at the gym)

I could not agree more!!!!!!!!!! ( Not sure why it put it as a reply lol)

I couldn't agree more!!!!!!

I totally agree...............and my paragraph I orginally posted was intended for folks who know their diet and exersice programs are in check. Good response!!!!!!

I hear that a lot myself but after looking into either their diet and exersise programs the problem is usually pretty clear but not for everyone you are right about that. There are people that are resistant to lossing weight possiably because of other heath issues :)

I would say it is a bit of magic......Everyone has internal organs and staying properly hydrated helps ensure that they are working at the optium levels along with your metabolisim :)

Yes the trips to the bathroom get annoying at first I must say however your body gets used to it and tappers off just like normal. So don't think that making that run the bathroom every 5 minutes will last forever but heck it got you moving lol

My life experience tells me not to get involved....It has a way of biting you right in the *kitten* somehow (even if your intentions on good). There really isn't anything you can say anyway everyone has to been in the right frame of mind mentally before starting this venture. Saying something and her taking it negitivally…

Wow I was where a lot of you are right now Feb. 13th 2012 and today I am 104 lbs. lighter. If anyone needs motivation or new diet ideas feel free to add me. :))

I think for a lot of people on MFP, like me, don't need the temptation of eating at fast food restaraunts. Not to say they don't have healthier options but lets face facts most of us got in the shape we are in by making bad choices and gave into temptations of greesy fatty foods. When I first started my journey of weight…

No because some of the things (such as bread, cheese, etc.) I limit myself because of the added carbs, sugar, and sodium. So eating more of it would throw everything out of wack by the end of the day (at least it does for me). So discovering a meal replacement (High calories, low carb, high protien) works great!!! Thanks…

If anyone is like me and kills it at the gym (between 750 - 1200 calories burnt a day) its hard to find the "right" things to eat to achieve this goal, that is without throwing your sodium, carbs, or sugar all out of wack!!! I discovered that having some type of meal replacement after a workout keeps me closer to where I…

Depeding on what you are doing it could be a small hairline fracture in your foot. This happens a lot more than you think. There is nothing you can do about it but try to concentrate on lower impact for a few weeks and it should get better :)

I only weigh myself about every two weeks. The daily fluctuations will drive me mad if I weighed in every few days. I ask myself the same question before putting anything in my mouth....."Will eating this fuel my body and get me closer to where I need to be or only give me a short term satisfaction and disappointment after…
