  • my old treadmill did this a couple times too. my hubby took the circuit board off the front, 1 of the fuses had blown. we replaced the fuse for about $3 and got another 2 years out of it! :) (my lovely 5 year old decided to try and cut the belt with a pair of kid safety scissors... she got about a 1 inch cut in the side,…

  • the "prevention: 10 minute solutions" series is pretty good. only about $9-$10 per movie at wal-mart. has bootcamp style and a couple different dancing kinds. has like 5 routines, broken down into 10 minute sections. i really like them! :)
  • you look great! good job!!
  • i'm the total opposite. i love working out later in the evening, take a shower and sleep like a log. just have to try it and see what works for you.
  • i have the edge also. it doesn't really work up that big of a sweat, but i like to use it at the end of my workouts. it really stretches my legs and gives me a nice cool down. my mom also has one and uses it religiously every day. its virtually non-impact, so its really easy on her arthritic knees. she has lost about 30…
  • i don't have an hrm either, but when i do the free step with my 4 inch riser, i log it as "aerobis, low impact". for example, if i do 20 mins free step without the rise, the wii fit board says i burn 102 cals. if i log aerobics, low impact for 20 mins, it gives me 164 cals. i also do big arm movements the entire time. like…
  • i had 2 c-sections, and have that annoying pouch too. i actually use good 'ol fashioned granny panties when i work out! lol they make a heavier weight, kind of satiny material panties at walmart. :flowerforyou: it seems to help
  • thanks so much! my downside is salty foods like lunchmeat and lean cuisine tv dinners. lol i will definately work more on limiting those things and drinking more water. thanks for everyone's help!
  • i make shopping lists every time i go. i always write on the bottom. "don't foget bags" so when i add to my list throughout the week i see it! :)
  • i thought it was a catchy, clever title. i took no offense at all. she was not calling all overweight people "zeros". but face it, we all have had moments when we didn't feel like a million bucks! chances are thats why most of us are here.... to look and feel like a million bucks, not a "zero".
  • i'm just trying to lose weight. i have lost 43 pounds since october. i workout to ea sport active 2 every day for 30 mins, do a 20 min leslie sansone walking dvd of a morning, and usually do at least 40 mins on the treadmill at night. but just plain walking was starting to feel easy. i was afraid i wasn't getting a good…
  • thanks! i will bump up my walking speeds. i was so focused on the jogging speeds i guess it didn't dawn on me to bump up the walking speed! lol so maybe tomarrow i will try to walk at 2.7 for the intervals instead of 2.5. i have really weak ankles, so i might bump the incline to 1%, but i really doubt i can do a lot more…
  • wow!!! you look great! good job! :) and belly? what belly? looks like it is almost gone, gone, gone! :flowerforyou:
  • i'm not sure where you are from, but if there is an aldi's store near by, that would be an excellent place to look at. you can get frozen veggies for $0.89 a bag! (like broccoli, carrots, mixed veggies) they are also great for cheap foods like yogurt, cottage cheese, breads (i like the bagel thins), low fat…
  • the zumba game just came out last week (i think) or maybe the week before. it's awesome though! (i have never taken a real zumba class, so i can't compare it)
  • i got the zumba game yesterday... it kicks some pretty serious booty! lol within 5 mins i was seriously sweating my tush off! lol i primarily use dancing dvd's as exercise, and i have pretty good rhythm and musicality and i found this game kinda tough. but it was a lot of fun! there is tons of routines, each with 3 levels…
  • :flowerforyou: i did ok... i did not log my food, i was away from the computer all day, but i did write it down. i did go for seconds, but i filled up on roasted turkey and lots of veggies from the veggie tray. i did have one small scoop of noodles and about 5 mini meatballs. i passed on potatoes, dressing and desert.…
  • well, about 6 years ago i was on the pill, and started to heavily workout, diet, and lost about 30 pounds in 4 months.... then found out i was pregnant with my first daughter greta. then about 2.5 years ago, i did the diet/excerise and lost about 25 pounds in 3 months while on the nuvaring... and got pregnant with my…

  • Harry Potter!!!! (yes, i am a dorky 25 year old mother of 3, but i love harry potter!!!) :)
  • i love the netflix workouts!! if you go to the search box and type in "crunch" it will bring up about 12 instant dvds. you can also type in keywords like dancing, kickboxing, pilates etc and it will bring up a ton of instant ones!! my fave right now is the crunch bootcamp! :)
  • i always get my workouts in at night. i just love the feeling of working out, getting tired, shower, relax for a bit and bed. it actually helps me unwind and sleep better! (that and i am just totally not a morning person!!) lol
  • that's awesome! even the little rewards mean so much!! :drinker:
  • i totally understand where you are coming from!! what i have to do to get some work out time is incorporate it in my "chores". like if i am folding clothes, i will do squats. while im cooking, loading dish washer etc, i dance around in the kitchen. i do pushups against the shower walls while conditioning my hair. i have a…
