I have mine stored away. But I'm planning on having another baby and my maternity clothes will hopefully be too big next time. So hoping I will be able to get by w/ my "fat" clothes.

Yeah!! I haven't been able to find this thread again for months. I'm excited to be surrounded by my drinking peers!

Totally understand. I'm down 58 (little more than my original goal) and he still doesn't compliment me without being prompted unless he's, you know, in the mood. I will say, though, that others really started to comment when I was about 40 down. Of course, that seems like alot and you don't even need to lose that much but…

Brownberry has a double fiber bread that has a decent texture and packs around 4 or 5 grams per slice, but it's about 100 calories. Most light wheat breads have alot of fiber too. Also, if the package says "multigrain" it doesn't necissarily mean high fiber for pasta or bread, stick w/ whole wheat (even whole grain may not…

Congrats and welcome! I'm a mommy too that needed to lose baby and pre-baby weight. I'm in maintaining now and it feels great.

Quadruple congrats!!!!

The plain kind isn't at all. I eat the Fage 0% plain with fresh fruit and it's filling and has a bunch of protien. The texture is awesome but because there is so much less sugar than regular yogurt, the flavor takes a little getting used to but it's still great w/ fruit.

Make sure you stick w/ ground meat (turkey OR beef) w/ a fat % 10 or under. You can cook them in a pan with a little salt on the bottom, no need to add oil unless the meat is 97% fat free or leaner and even then you could get away w/ cooking spray. I'd say about 1/2 to 3/4ths an inch thick and that should keep you around a…

You know, I understand your angst and honestly that's been my biggest reason for swinging back up in weight. My pattern is to religously watch every calorie that goes into my body and work out as much as humanly possible while pushing for more, I loose all the weight plus more (lately in the range of 30-50 lbs) in a short…

You're husband gave you fabulous incentive! Just make sure he sticks to it when you reach your goal!

Gained 50 and I was overweight to start (gained 60% in the second tri-mester). Only lost 30 w/ breastfeeding and it took me about a year to get down to my pre-pregnancy weight. Now I'm an additional 30 down thanks to MFP!

Yep, my face, butt (which is fairly unimpressive to begin with) and my boobs are most noticable to me, but I'm fortunate enough to gain like I lose which is decently proportionate. Post baby, however, my stomach (pooch) and hips seem to be holding on w/ dear life. Sigh

It definately depends on the dish but the sauces are pretty high in calories and sodium. Stick to steamed veggies and chicken (no sauce) and steamed rice (just a little and brown if they have it). I would say Japenese food is a bit better especially if you like sushimi just be careful of mercury. Oh yeah, and Vietnemese is…

So I'm not doing great today with calories (nothing like an innocent looking "savor size" salad to decieve you) BUT, this is day #4 with no nicotine. Not a huge accomplishment but it's a start.

Hello, my name's Christina and I have a 15 month old son (Max), a 6 year old step son (Sebastian) and a naturally skinny husband (we'll just call him lucky b****rd). I joined in Aug 2010 and have lost 46lbs and just have about 10 to go. I'm hitting the hardest part for me which is maintaining my weight after my big drop.…

Hidden Valley light for me!

I have several weaknesses, but I'd have to say my biggest struggle is maintaining my weight after I've hit my goal. I have a hard time sticking to my eating and excersize rountines when I don't have that reward of weight lost and I tend to get angry that I can't have what I want and do what I want whenever I want (not too…

Thank-you for posting this. This has an excellent message, especially for women.

I could use some extra motivation for the home stretch!

Okay, I gotta say hard work is important but it depends on genetics too. If you have thin skin that's prone to stretch marks you can probably shrink it to be hidden but you're skin probably won't snap back as well as someone w/ great genes. Not an excuse, but I don't really think it's fair to imply that someone just didn't…

I am breastfeeding but only for comfort ( my son is on solids and cows milk) so I don't deduct any calories. I started on Aug 2nd 2010 at 201 lbs and have lost 44lbs. I had a pretty inconsistent milk supply to begin with so I don't believe it effected it negatively. I set myself to loose a pound a week so that put me at…

I've lost 44 lbs since August and I can run again!!!!

Congratulations! It is a real accomplishment and be proud!

I'm with ya! I used to like to cook (especially while drinking a glass or 2 of wine) but since I had my baby (15 mos now) and I work until 6 (at least), the pleasure has been sapped out of it. My husband does most of the "cooking" which consists of spaghetti, turkey patties or frozen breaded stuffed chicken breasts and…

I'd say work alot on your core (Pilates and Power Yoga) and maybe do Lat pulldowns at the gym. Good workout for that spot is push-ups too. Make yourself drop and do 10 a couple of times a day and it should help.

Needs to be longer than January, but cigarettes are my first vice that I NEED to quit. Definately what I would call an unhealthy on again, off again relationship.

Fat free light yogurt is always good, even better if it's fat free plain Greek yogurt mixed w/ fresh fruit. I also eat the Fiber Plus bars which are 120 calories but are fairly filling. I usually eat them as a pair giving me a bit under around 230 calories for breakfast and it's fast and nutritious.
