  • thanks for the inspiration :) i agree, it feels innate and natural! it is definitely a form of self-expression (as any art is), so i just hope i don't get made fun of or something because that's not right!
  • you could always walk up and down the stairs if there are some where you intern. on your breaks, maybe when you are just standing around? although, i think if you did that you might be tiring yourself out a lot haha
  • i like the morning workout but only if i eat some source of carbohydrates to get me through it. some people work out without eating first, but i can't really push myself that far if i don't eat. i have a lot of energy throughout the day, and sleep better at night when i workout in the morning. plus, knowing that i already…
  • try eating some sources of healthy fat :) everytime i eat cashews and avocados in the same day i basically go over my fats:blushing:
  • once my family wanted me to eat mcdonalds because we were on the road. i had to go in and buy the food for everyone else, but i think mcds is gross. i came back out and my mom was like why didn't you get food? and i just jumped up and down and said YOU CAN"T MAKE ME EAT GARBAGE. it was really funny, and i don't know if it…

  • it's not caffeinated and its unsweetened, so it's going to act like water, but have maybe the benefits of what kind of tea it is. :)
  • i think that this website really overestimates calories burned... when i use the workout machines in the gym it tells me i burned XX number of calories, and i come back and enter the time i spent on a certain machine and it's like you burned LOTS of calories!!! and it's a lie so i just enter the calories that the gym thing…
  • ya i think i'm just going to go to the health center tomorrow just to be sure- diabetes type 2 and hypertension run in my family, so i'd rather be on the safe side. i've had this happen before, but it went away. just trekked across campus in search of powerade, and now i'm drinking some :)
  • i don't really eat that much salt... if anything i have to try to include salt in my diet because i try not to eat processed stuff. just because i'm drinking enough water, doesn't mean that i'm staying hydrated- i go to the bathroom A LOT so it probably washes all my electrolytes out :(
  • hmm... well if i'm still dizzy tomorrow i'm making an appointment at my health center- also i have a blood glucose tester, so i will test it next time i'm really dizzy.
  • thanks guys :) ya i've been eating enough/ on a schedule because i do feel icky if i don't. i don't feel stuffy or congested, and my ears don't hurt so maybe it's not the ear thing? i drink water like it's my job- i love it! these are all great ideas, and i'm sorry to keep refuting them but i just haven't done anything…
  • i've just started doing some weight training (like yesterday), and i think that i will join you! i want to have "first lady arms" too! haha.
  • In my lifespan developmental psych class, the professor talked about how it is necessary to have friends more so when you are an adult than when you're a kid. Obviously, friends are important at any stages of life, but when you are an adult, your parents, siblings, or other friends may pass away, move away, or simply not…
  • as long as your vinegar isn't distilled then it is more pure in a way that will probably be more beneficial :) check out 150 healthiest foods for a great read/ reference book. you won't want to put it down and you'll only want to eat veggies forever!
  • well there is some rice on the outside, but a very small amount. i find sushi to be a great light lunch/ dinner. seaweed is really good for you, and as long as you get the sushi without anything tempura or deep fried, just sticking to veggies and fish in it, you should be good! i like spicy tuna and spicy salmon :) i…

  • yessah i have a fridge in my apartment, and when i am in the studio for 8 hours at a time, i just bring a lil lunch box with cold packs in it if i want to bring something cold. i also have a thermos, so i should be putting that to use to!
  • these are sounding yummy!! keep 'em coming :)
  • personally, i would find the high impact ones, for running and jumping and such, and i would wear TWO. wash and DRY them often to keep them tight and not so loose that everyone jumbles around. hope that helps :)
  • uhm it might be totally lame but blue crush 2 :)
  • i'm 5'4" and i'm 130 currently. hoping to get down to 120 maybe- i mostly just want to be toned and "fit" looking at this point :)
  • i'm an art nerd and spend hours on end in the ceramics studio daily... like 8-12 hours a day... loveee it!
  • thanks guys :) Luckily, i don't smoke (or drink often) so no worries there. I like cooking dinner in the evenings but i usually just have pasta with veggies on it- i know how to cook, but i don't know WHAT to cook. Sometimes it gets tough because i might be in the studio from 12pm-8 or 9pm and i eat small snacks (like the…
  • definitely start going to bed a little bit earlier each night and then wake up just at 6, and even if you are sleepy just get up and make yourself go anyways. morning work outs are amazing :) i like to eat a small piece of fruit just so i don't feel too shaky after a workout. simple carbohydrates :)
  • First of all, he is NOT being professional, so i would embarrass him a little by pointing that out to him. Second, you might have to "get used" to getting hit on or checked out (you can simply slip into the conversation something about you and your husband did some past weekend), but when someone takes it too far…
  • YES yes yes. I feel the same way. you build up for three weeks and then you know you have to just not go. i get so tired and i just feel cruddy. i do however, want to get going again once i have been not going for a week. I don't know how to help you though, the only idea that i have is "skipping" my period by immediately…
