I try to preplan and log my main meals and I stick to it. Then the only things I have to worry about are snacks. The only thing that trips me up with that is the occaisonsonal unexpected lunch or dinner out with friends. I know that doing it that way is difficult for some people who have actual lives, but since I don't get…

I tell them it's not a diet, I eat what I want but I exercise and stay within my calorie allotment (at least most of the time:embarassed: ) Then I direct them here to MFP. Sent a few people I know over here and they have had success once they got into it.

I'm handsome, I have a car, a house, I'm self sufficient, and have a steady income but haven't gotten any date offers. Could be I am only looking online right now and I have the unfortunate problem of being 43. I'd date you in a heartbeat. If these guys are in thier mid 30s they should have at least made some progress…

It's tempting sometimes...more out of the embarrasment I'd feel if my friends saw, rather than trying to fool myself though....but no. I've been in the red 1500-2500 calories before. I log it. It isn't pretty and I know it, my friends know it, but at least I log it. You have to be honest with yourself. Shortchanging the…

A little bit is ok to bring out some highlights. However, putting on enough to make a mime jealous is not.

Not likely unless you ate like 5 whoppers. It takes 3500 cals to make a pound.

I cut down on some stuff..whole milk and ice cream, halved my butter for the most part, odds and ends like that but I'm not going to give up on real food or even fast food. For me it's just not realistic.

Egg Beaters and manufacturers of like products probably funded the study, declining sales revenue maybe? The late great egg scare which spawned these products having lost its fear factor.

I get that way as well, If I have a good meal for lunch, it's sleep coma time, funny never happens after dinner or breakfast though.

Not to my point of view. If you are meeting your daily nutrient requirements. I have maybe 7 or 8 dinner meals that I cycle. Breakfast I've pretty much settled on Oatmeal because there are so many different flavors. Lunch is pretty much liquid for me.

Not necessarily true. That's your opinion of course, but everyones workouts are different. Lots of folks who work hard on a treadmill use the TV to take thier minds of the monotony of running in place. You can also read a book on a bike and still get a proper cardio workout. As for space on the treadmill.....either she…

I eat fast food once a week (sometimes more, but not too much). It keeps me in balance, I like eating it and I don't deny myself the pleasure of it. I just try and work my cals in so I can eat it guilt free. I don't watch anything but calories though. Enjoy.

water maybe. My scale is freaky. WHen I first get up I'll weigh XX then even if I do nothing, no eating, drinking or eliminating it'll change by 1/2-1 pd...like redistribution or somemething. Oh well, I don't care..offical is once a month and if I've lost at that time then that's it. Daily for me is just for giggles and…

Not really. There are some days though when I go over BECAUSE I ate a bit like I used to, but it's not a planned for thing.

This!! I had a friend who worked at McDonalds once years ago. I don't think he's touched a Big Mac since. It might be hard for a little while but too much exposure to anything will eventually destroy any desire you may have had to eat it. If you need the job get it.
