I'm going to do a week of recovery...Core Cardio & Balance alternated with the Sports Training workout from the advanced series. I plan to kick off round 2 on Sept. 24. My plan after round 2 is to do a hybrid of Insanity and Chalean Extreme.

Week 8 Day 5 Max Interval Circuit This week has certainly flown. I can't believe I'm going to complete Round 1 in another week! MIC was pretty challenging today...those side suicides absolutely KILL me! I did more regular suicides that side ones just to get through the 3 rounds.

Week 8 Day 4 Max Recovery Still HATE this workout and I always look forward to getting it over with. Today was no different plus I stayed up later than usual last night to watch my beloved NY Giants lose so I'm extra tired. Sigh.... Looking forward to seeing puddles of sweat tomorrow from Max Interval Circuit!!!!!

So far I've lost 6.3 lbs and a bunch of inches all over. I feel smaller and my stomach has definitely shrunk. I do plan to do another round once I finish this one because I've heard you really see results from doing a 2nd round.

Week 8 Day 3 Max Cardio Conditioning & Cardio Abs I'm thoroughly exhausted after this workout. I can't believe I'm going to complete round 1 of Insanity in 11 days! It's unbelievable.

Week 8 Day 1 Max Interval Circuit Holy smokes only 2 weeks left until I complete my 1st round of Insanity!!!! I am so proud of myself for making it this far. Week 7 Day 7 REST DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOM finally came and I refuse to get on the scale because I know the number is going to be up. Why ruin a perfectly good Sunday when I know the gain is temporary?!?!?!?!!!

LOL Puckers. I'm not sure I prefer Month 2 workouts...although I do LOVE the copious amounts of sweat that fall off my body during each workout! If that's really fat crying then mine is BAWLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Week 7 Day 4 Max Recovery Still don't find anything relaxing about this workout. In fact some of the movements are downright painful. It was nice to take a break from all the jumping though.

Wow that's some progress you've made this month Puckers!!! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised that, for a hard as Month 2 is, your endurance will enable you to keep up a lot better. Can't wait to hear your thoughts next week!!!

Thanks Anne! For right now, my protein shake with a teaspoon of L-Glutamine added seems to be helping. I've yet to buy any recovery drink because they all seem to contain stuff I don't necessarily want to ingest.
