Bump! Amazing list, thanks so much for this

I'd love to know this too. I use the charts every day on my mobile and find them so useful. I may be being really dumb but I can't see an easy way to see NET calories on computer either. I know I can take my eaten calories away from my allowance (before any wise cracks) but it's so easy on the phone to just glance and…

Great post and so true! I always try to remember that 1lb = 3500 calories ...It takes will power and hard work to burn 3500 calories we should be proud of every pound

Wow! You look incredible! Such a transformation and you look so much younger in the second pic.

Similar to me, I weigh on Sunday mornings. It stops me over indulging at the weekend knowing i'll be weighing in. Often told i'm mad cause weekends are the worst time, but that's the point : ) I don't want to spend the whole next week working off 'weekend calories'

Bump, thanks for the recipe

This thread inspired me to book in last minute for Zumba tone last night and I loved it. It seems a good one to start with to get to know some moves as the instructor said its a little slower than normal zumba. Going to book in for next week and a normal zumba class if there's space. Thanks for all the tips : )
-
Thanks : ) Maybe i'll book the class for tomorrow then. It will be a different instructor from the one who told me I couldn't wear running shoes so i'll give it a go.

Thanks for your reply. Many many years ago I danced and somewhere have a pair of capezio split sole dance boots, sounds as though they would do the trick.. just have to try and find them now before I book a class! Or I might book a class for tomorrow with normal trainers and try and find the capezios for next week. I'm…

Thanks for the tip. They've just introduced this at my gym and I might give it a try - no worries on which footwear for that : ) I'm guessing you just wear swimming costume as you would to go for a swim?

Really glad this has come up and kind of fate. I have had my mouse poised over the 'book' button for the zumba class at my gym twice today but keep fretting. I went to book a while ago and the instructor mentioned that you can't wear normal trainers for the class. What does everyone wear on their feet? Thanks for any…

[/quote] Well it is just a "guess" after all. My 80% vs 20% was founded by research on multiple different sites and discussing it with many different trainers. However 90% vs 10% or 80% vs 20% doesn't suggest or mean that we should give up on exercise altogether. Diet is super important, however exercise has countless…

This : ) You can't out train a bad diet

I'm 5'3" Start weight 143lb current weight 119lb ideally want to get back to between 110 - 112lb and really tone up. Trying to eat a lot cleaner and training 4-5 times a week. Feel free to add me it would be great to others with similar goals : )
-
That : ) Exactly the same. The original post doesn't take into consideration that many of us use the sedentary lifestyle setting.

You're doing so well. the gain will be muscle which will happen but you'll still be getting smaller. You need to get a tape measure and measure yourself. Especially as your scales aren't reliable. You could carry on weight training losing weight on the scales at a slower rate (even gaining 1/2 pound every now and then) and…

Wow you look amazing, congratulations!

Wow, I've never really thought of it like that. I think you've just made me realise what people are thinking when they judge. Even when I was slightly bigger I knew why (bad food, alcohol, no exercise) so it wasn't really how I lose weight more getting on with it and changing my lifestyle. As you say you assume that…

(Ggrrr written reply twice and internet dropped both times!) That's cool, everyone seems to say similar that it's REALLY hard but worth it cause you feel it working.
