Surrenders are definitely hard! I don't know why, but I can do them ok with one leg and when I switch, I get all confused and it's much harder.

Yeah, I finished legs workout. It went fine I just could lunge as deep as I wanted to!

There's a 10k hike between Oia and Fira on Santorini, Greece that I took these on. This is from September 2014 but I couldn't resist sharing. This thread is my absolute FAVORITES by far! So inspired! Treadmills suck! .ssl.cf1.rackcdn.com/mfp-en.vanillaforums.com/editor/7x/c77v7vhh5j22.jpg

I did that video a few years ago and don't remember the exercises, but maybe because you're activating multiple muscle groups at once instead one at a time you're saving time overall?

I make baggies with my smoothie ingredients and then just let it thaw a few minutes. 1/2 banana, 1 cup blueberries, 2 cups spinach, 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1/2 c. Unsweetened vanilla coconut milk, 1c. Water, 1 tbsp chia seeds, 1 pea protein powder Delicious and filling! Takes less than 5 minutes including…

I agree, that last one sounds amazing! And I have some mushrooms I need to use up!

Apparently I didn't read all my materials as thoroughly as I thought. :/ I did lower fix for the first time today. It was one of the workout I skipped last week because I was so sore! The first rep of the very first exercise I strained my hamstring and my glut! I felt like such a wuss! I ended up having to wait a few hours…

That is true. You could use a baby carrier and put your older kiddo in a jogger until the baby is a little older. I think it's 6 months minimum for at least some of the joggers. I offer advice because it was requested but honestly, I agree with the people who said don't worry about it too much for now! That's a tough age…

As for additional exercise, I haven't been aside from some walks with my kiddo, but those are usually a slower pace. After how sore I was last week, it didn't even cross my mind to add anything else. I start doubles on Saturday so I want to see how that goes. But I'm planning on doing another round and I'll probably be…

@evelynfarmer I really don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but just a heads up: 21 day fix recommends almond milk (which kinda considered a treat) 3 times a week. But I'm excited for you to get started as see the great results!

Ha! I just found that blog this morning!
-
That's a good tip about the cheat sheets!
-
I'm missing yoga for sure, so I can do some sun salutations and be satisfied. Maybe dirty 30, depending on when we plan on leaving.

Wow. That's a rough decade, sorry to hear about all the losses in your family! *hugs* I think slow and steady wins the race! Of course I think that, though. I've lose 7 lbs in the last 10 weeks!

Well said @synacious! We've had the convo about meal replacements. I really like the shakeology because they are tasty with just water. But it's way to expensive to continue. Currently on Day #11. My workouts are going much better this week. I'm not nearly as sore as last week, so for those of you just starting ding worry…

These are really good introductions! I like this much better than the generic age/sex/weight stuff. I'm Crosby. The first thing you need to know about me is I am clearly bad at thinking up screen names. :) I'm 34, single mom to an 8 year old son, he is a kitty dad to 2 cats (which makes me a grandma at my ripe old age).…

http://www.budgetbytes.com/2011/08/summer-vegetable-tian/ I look forward to making this recipe every summer! It's seems plain, but is seriously delicious. No idea how it would break down into containers yet though. Waiting for my moms squash to come in so I can make it!

Just made them today. They were tasty! The filling made enough for 3-4 medium zucchini, though. When I make them again, I'll double the sundried tomatoes and add more seasoning... Maybe some mushrooms.

I try to eat all my calories by 2 am or so. Dinner between 8 and 10 pm, then all my snacks.
-
I usually get hungry between 4 and 7 am independent of how much I eat! Bit I wait to eat until I get home.I usually have a small bowl of cereal with berries, avocado toast, a couple of eggs.

I work night shift, so I can help you with that part! What specifically do you need help with?
-
Can't find the recipe online. I'll have to copy it from my computer at home. It takes a while to make but is SO worth it!

I've got a great raw granola recipe. Found it in Raw Foods, Real World cookbook. It's all nuts and dates, delicious with a few berries and some almond milk! I also make breakfast quinoa. Just quinoa with blueberries and a splash of almond milk.
-
I'm hoping I'll be ready for double workouts in a week!
-
Thanks! I have stuff to a different chili recipe, but I'd rather have one that's already 21 day approved.
-
How did you make your spreadsheet? Is it just excel?
-
The spaghetti squash also sounds really good!
-
I'm making those zucchini boats today! I have a few zucchini in the fridge that I was looking for something fun to do with them!

Love the granddaughter quote! Out of the mouths of babes, right? My son has told me tummy is flubby like jello, so I hear ya.

I agree! Haven't taken multi vitamins in 5+ years. I really like her approach of looking at mechanisms in the body and looking for proof of nutrients in the blood. I work in the medical field and have much respect for my colleagues who do research, but I think you really have to dig into the original data yourself to get a…
