Thank you for that reminder that the scale is not the end all be all and that you can still make progress in inches etc. You look great by the way!

I was aiming for about an hour and got 1:03. Just find a pace that is comfortable to you for your first race. You can do it! :)

I started with 1200 and lost a little weight and then hit a major Plateau I was not eating back exercise calories (I work out hard 5-6x per week) and since I upped calories to 1350-1370 i feel better and finally lost some weight. Just listen to your body!

Just getting up and doing it. I work out at 5 or 5:30 almost every morning. It takes awhile to get used to but so worth it! GREAT way to start the day!

Name: Bri Age: 23 1. I organize my closet how I used to organize the retail stores I worked in 2. I am the neatest slob you may ever meet. 3. When decorating my house I pretend like someone from HGTV is coming to critique it. 4. My eyes are so dark people think they are almost black, but they have flakes of a golden brown…

About 31 mins. You can do it!! :)

I found that too. OMG delicious!! And for those who just want to binge on a WHOLE pint it's 150 cals w/ 14 grams of protein. It's Gluten and Lactose free! AWESOME :)

ROCK that thing! Run how you train -- you will not look dorky! At my 1/2 last week, also my first, people had camel packs and fuel belts. I had to wear my bright pink one :) It's important to be comfortable, and if you aren't comfortable throwing water all over yourself don't! No one will make fun of you, I promise :)

Couldn't agree more. I have always been told that running is a natural laxative and if you're really in-shape you'll also have to pee a lot. It does matter what you eat before running and how much and how long before. You've been at it for 2 months, keep up the work and keep experimenting until you know what works best for…

Map my run or Nike + work great!

Love these answers! Reminds me to keep with it with the upped calories!!

I have a Polar. I use the chest strap and I also have the sports bra. Might want to look into sports bras w/ the monitor strap, hopefully that won't go anywhere!!

I'm at 149 and want to get down to 128-130 but like others mentioned I'm more concerned w/ my body fat %

I'm in, looking to loose about 20-25 but that rounds up to 30 right ;-)

Thanks, I've put a request in. I have a few weeks until I start this portion. Let me know how you feel, I'll be watching :)
-
Would you be willing to share you schedule? I'd love to see something. I'm working on distance running and endurance. My weekly mileage is about 20 and I'd like to keep it there if at all possible, but I know insanity is only 2 months and has huge cardio benefits.
-
I'm not sure I'd be able to keep up my distance running with insanity. I think I may incorporate 2 runs a week a long (10+) and a short (4-6), a rest day & spread out some of the insanity workouts.

That looks delicious thanks for sharing!!
