I agree. Once a week is just right. It was making me crazy just checking every other day. I have to force myself to wait until Tuesday to weigh in.

It's more of a not eating.... I never thought I'd see the day that I didn't crave a double cheeseburger and fries. I haven't had fast food in 3 and a half months and I think if I ate it now it would make me sick.

Let yourself have the sweets. Just make them worth it. I LOVE the Dove Dark Chocolate Promises. They"re not quite 45 calories a piece and they are just the chocolate fix I need and after a healthy dinner.

An exercise ball! There are SO many different exercises to do with it! The important thing is to remember to balance your workout, especially doing your core. When you do an exercise for your abs, do one for your lower back. It's important for back health and posture.

It has helped me to make a menu for dinners for two weeks. I go through the cookbooks to see what I need for dinner and make my shopping list. Then I know that I have things in the house for dinners and have a nice long list to choose from when planning my days. I know it's boring, but I eat pretty much the same thing…

Don't be so hard on yourself. I have recently found my slow cooker to be my best friend. Not only does it force you to plan your meals in advance, dinner is waiting for you at home. You will be less tempted to grab something easy on the way home. The newest ones have timers that you can set for the cooking time and then…

Kraft makes a light Asian Toasted Sesame dressing and if you mix that with the Franks, you'll get a spicy asian. It's yummy!

I would also say cardio. There are a lot of activities that you can find in the exercise database that will give you an estimate on calories burned. You can also count strength training as a cardio.

I just tried The Laughing Cow cheese for the first time after reading about it in MFP. It's awesome!! Spread on a Wasa Multigrain cracker, it just the low calorie, high-fiber, whole grain, filling snack I've been looking for!! If you haven't tried it, get some! And thank you to the MFPers who mentioned it!

Keep healthy snack readily available for those hungry moments and be sure to drink extra water. It"s important to not be eating empty calories while you are breastfeeding. Good luck!

Get back to it!! It will make you feel better knowing you did something good for yourself after being sick all week.

Hello. My name is Katie and I joined this site about a month ago. I was just exercising to lose weight after my surgery and hit a plateau. I joined to track my calories and have lost another 7 pounds, bringing the total to 24 pounds! I'm loving the insight and encouragement that everyone gives. I'm looking forward to…
