If I am truly hungry I eat carrots and hummus at the end of my day. Otherwise I would say eat more protein throughout your day and add more bulky but low calorie foods like veggies to your meals.

Great job changing your life! It looks like your kids have a cool mom. Keep up the awesome work.

You could have salmon and asparagus instead;) that is my 5 year olds favorite dinner. I eat around 1500 calories a day plus exercise calories. I generally eat whatever I want as long as it fits into my calories. I know some things satisfy me better and some foods have some neat extra health benefits so I try to include…

Awesome progress. I love your close up of your arm. I find it interesting that it looks like your forearm got bigger but wow does it look so much better. It is amazing how adding some muscle really changed the look of your arms. I hope the same happens for me as I progress. You are definety a success. Look forward to…

Eggs, quinoa, carrots with hummus all help me feel full.

Try it for a week or two and see what happens. I had my mom try dropping to just 2000 calories for a couple of weeks and she lost weight. She wasn't exercising like crazy either. She was nervous because she thought she needed to be much lower to lose weight. Enjoy eating 2000 calories while you can do it and lose. When you…

I love Zumba but did find the first time I went my knees hurt. It has gotten a lot better the more I go. The teacher always shows modifications for low impact and the teachers always encourage people to do what they can. We are all in a different place in our fitness. The classes I attend have a wide range of abilities. On…

Great job! Pictures really do tell the story so much better than just the numbers. I am starting in the 170s and look a lot like your first picture.

I like carrots and hummus.

I don't have advice. I just wanted to say I think seeing professionals is a good choice. I hope you get it all figured out and begin liking yourself again.

Just my experience but I wouldn't stop counting. In March I got discouraged after losing from 165 down to 158. I wanted things faster and didn't want to stall. ( wish I could go back and wake me up) I was looking up eating more and decided to increase my calories from 1200to 1300 to try and go slow. Then I thought I would…

I bungee jumped when I was in New Zealand. I loved it and would liked to have done it again. I did immediately think skydiving would be great. I just don't know if with my 2 little kids I can convince myself to jump out of a plane, yet. If failure wasn't even an option I think I would make it a whole family activity.

Skydive.

So I do a boot camp class that basically consist of what you described. When I start out I can barely complete most things without having to do a modified version of a lot of the exercises. As I get better I can actually do all of the moves appropriately but still feel like I am going to die. The point of the class is for…

Borrow a toddler. My 2 year old wakes me by 6 am every morning. I keep trying to get him to sleep longer but it doesn't work. I can't sleep with him jabbering and making train noises. I get up and ready and I am able to work out early in the day.

Congratulations on getting so much healthier. You look great and I can tell by reading your story you feel great as well. Yup I read it all. Thank you for sharing. No excuse for me not to go to the gym tomorrow. I am going to start practicing my lower squats as well.

Just on pizza.

Don't know the answer but have had similar issues lately. My symptoms around it seem worse also. Had 24 days between one month and then 30+ days the next. I just figure my body is a bit confused.

Thrift shop. It will take your time but be really nice on your finances. I spend a while each week looking for stuff at the various thrift shops. I have two kids so I go when they are in preschool. There are a good number of places here from goodwill, salvation army, and then higher end places like clothes mentor. I often…

I am a sham and have been for 5+ years now. I know it can be hard. Check out Meetup.com for moms groups in your area. Depending on your area there may be a bunch of different ones. Check them out as they are all a little different. Some are even exercise related. Check out MOMS international as well. MOMs is based on where…

Steak or salmon with asparagus is my sons favorite. We put Montreal seasoning on the steak and use Tony's Cajun seasoning for the salmon. The asparagus has oil, salt, pepper and then we play around with other spices like paprika, lawrys, and garlic. I do tacos without the shell but with tons of spinach, or fajitas without…

I have some ceramic pots and I never use oil. My husband has gotten frustrated with them though because the larger pan began sticking a little. The pan I cook eggs in doesnt stick and I have never used oil. I have had these for about a year. They are ceramic pots I got from bed bath and beyond and the are red. They don't…

I also wish people were told how hard Effexor is to quit. If I was late on a dose I would be puking and nauseous. When I came off of it slowly I was so sick I was hugging the toilet puking. I felt horrible. I wouldn't wish my symptoms on anyone. It was horrible. There are a lot of other medications that can be used for…

Congratulations. Awesome accomplishment.

Ill second belaga. I love them but they are expensive. I love my smart wool hiking socks but I haven't tried their running socks.

I love carrots and hummus. Low calorie but lots of volume. If you like spinach you can have a lot of that. I make a taco salad with spinach, ground turkey, spices, salsa, and a few taco chips if I want. It is filling and healthy. I leave out the taco chips if I don't have the calories left. I usually save sweets and such…

Just wanted to say congratulations on your weight loss and changing some really hard habits to change. Take this week to be proud of all the hard work you have done in 6 weeks. I lost weight but then got discouraged and gave up. Had I just continued at slow and steady I would be at my goal by now instead I am 15 pounds…

I find walking on uneven ground works different muscles in my legs than the road so maybe adding some uneven ground even if just grass might help. Walking up and down hills repeatedly would help as well. If you have access to a treadmill walking on an incline would be helpful. Just a couple of ideas. Oh and maybe some…

I bought one and loved it until it died a few months later. Well it didn't die it just stopped measuring correctly. It wouldn't go back to 0. It would jump around all over the place. I changed the batteries and that didn't help either. It was a Weight Masters. So that is one to avoid. I will be watching this thread because…
