I do Les Mills Body Attack 2-3 times a week, and usually a 30 minute run on the treadmill once a week. I also did Jillian Michaels 30-day-shred but I got bored of that after a couple of weeks.

Thanks everyone. I feel much better too, and I'm pleased I decided to lose weight. It has been worth all the effort!

I bought digital scales from amazon. I made sure I bought some that had lots of good reviews. They weigh me to the nearest quarter pound and they are very accurate. I was using non-digital ones before, and they were rubbish in comparison. It is much easier for me to track my weight loss with digital scales.

Ditto the starting slowly thing. Before you run, you should warm up with stretches. Then when you start, you should start with a walk, then slowly increase your pace. If at any point your knee starts to hurt, then you need to stop.
