australia is a terrible place for bike riding (unless you live right next to a bike track) but I ride around 4 days a week to my judo class for an hour and its great cardio. The first few weeks I thought my thighs were going to kill me, but I rode through it and now I am much more used to it. If you are very sensible and…

1. Judo club membership - its way more intense than any gym workout i've done and a heap more fun. 2. Gym membership - first got me into regular excersise 3. vegetables ;)

soleil (is that how you spell it?) no fat low sugar yoghurt. Sometimes I put some blueberries or something in. home made protein bars (whey protein, penut butter, honey, sugar free maple syrup, almonds, oats, milk) i always keep a can of sanitarium vegetarian sausages handy. They taste great (to me anyway) and are a nice…

Nike ads! they are so well produced hahaha. Not having to search for things in "my size". i.e. walk into a shop and buy whatever clothes I want. Health and fitness so I can avoid getting type 2 diabetes like everyone else in my family and can be a better judo competitor if I compete. People tend to like you more when you…

1. I have two ankle bone things - one of them is just a random bone that grew. 2. I used to play drums religiously for 10 years. I was in an indie rock, then black symphonic metal then tea party/tool/led zepplin escque mix mash of stuff. Now I spend all my spare time practising judo and trying to eat and excersise myself…

dude - I hear you! I was exactly the same, put around 15KG on from a brutal uni experience. unfortunately I have no good tips that have worked for me. I only started losing weight after I left uni. The worst ones for me was eating bad food when I had to stay at uni late because I didn't prepare any good snacks. I guess if…

for me - needs to be gym, or at least away from home. I think it is just a matter of personal preference. My advice would probably be try some stuff at home, or walking/running in the park etc. and if it doesn't work, then look around for a cheap gym membership. I don't know what it is, the convinience, the atmosphere, the…

that is interesting you bring that up! Although Ronda has been a judo olympian I only found out about her through MMA. I take some MMA classes and some people recommended I followed her, she's had some great fights - with awesome judo moves! Definately pumped to watch her do more stuff - wouldn't want to be on the end of…

yeah I did one - unfortunately it was only a week or two after I separated the AC joint in my shoulder so I was in pain, I was also not very fit and took forever to do it. If you go with a bunch of people and like mud, it can be pretty fun. Oh, being good at running helps as well :D

i know this is a bit weird - but I go on youtube and watch a heap of Nike commercials! they are well produced, have great music and are really inspiring. You just have to remember not to go out and buy a heap of running gear after ;) Also, seeing fit people at the gym / judo motivates me.

I used to be a cereal fanatic, but after starting to watch my calories I have steered clear of my favs because i go a little crazy. I now cycle between the following dependant on how I feel: - oats with skim milk, cinnamon, vanilla essence and honey/stevia sugar. - two eggs and two sanitarium "vege sausages" in a can (i…
