WTG!!! Phenominal work!! Your outside photos make me miss Chitown! Moved away a while ago and regret it every day. It's a great city to be in and with so much to do, the options for exercise are unlimited! Keep up the great work!
-
WOW!!! AMazing job!!! Congrats and keeo up the good, hard work!
-
Bravo!!! I still can't get off the floor without using something, but that's mostly due to too many years of sports on my knees. Just remember how good that victory feels on those days when motivation is waning!

I have to agree with most here. Exercise, weight loss and fitness are all things that you should do because you WANT to do them. If you allow their insensitive and rude treatment of you to be the motivation alone, you may have problems sticking to it for the long haul. It sounds like you have made great strides so far IN…

Likes: Big, juicy booty. Dislike: Tats and piercings.

I'm climbing back on the horse myself. Too much idle time and easy access to food while I was unemployed coupled with a lack of gym membership during that period has done it's damage. So, I'm doing the only thing that I can do that's productive. Back to the gym and MFP. Hope your newest round is a success!

Way to stay determined and focused!!

Wonderful! Reminds me of special times with my oldest kids when I was a single Dad with them.

I have opposite body image myself. I think I look pretty good and feel pretty good about myself and then I see a photo of me or catch my full body reflection in a mirror or window and I think "Dear GOD! I'm HUGE!!" .

A lot of it depends on what you are eating and what type of exercise you are doing. If you are looking at strenuous cardio with lots of moving/jumping/kicking/etc, then you want to eat at least 60 minutes before and nothing heavy. If you are doing strength training then you can eat a little heavier and a little closer to…

Ellicott City here.

Two words of advice: 1. Don't weigh yourself every day. It can be maddening trying to figure out the fluctuation. 2. Weigh yourself at the same time every day on the same scale. When and where is up to you, but consistency is the key. Plus, if you retain a lot of water that would explain the instant weight "gain".

Welcome. This is a great place with lots of supporting people. Feel free to friend me if you;d like.

I would suggest the Jif Natural. No added anything, and it doesn't separate like most natural PB's.

Congratulations on finding this site. It's a great place loaded with tools and support to succeed. Good luck on your journey!

Without question you are sending your body into a starvation mode. You need to eat your daily calories as suggested (or at least close) to keep your body on a healthy weight loss cycle. What you eat is just as important. Keep those fresh fruits and veggies at the front and complex carbs. Smoothies and crackers will get…

That's a fantastic idea! Congrats on the weight loss so far and keep that positive attitude!

That made me laugh! I can't tell you how many times I thought I was doing the "right" thing by making a "healthy" choice only to find out that their idea of "healthy" was apparently relative to eating a 5 lb. tub of lard. I What really made me mad was if I'd known how bad it was, I'd have enjoyed it a LOT more! Live and…

In MD, we're just scheduled for ice. I miss living in Chicago for these storms!! At some point there is nothing else to do but put your coat on, walk down to the neighborhood bar and drink the weather away as the snow piles up! Good times! Just DON'T move anyone's furniture on the street!!

First, let me just say that ALL exercise products use the most extreme examples for photos to sell their product. You shouldn't expect to get the results that are pictured. I have done a TON of research on P90X and just recently started it myself. From what I can tell, most people have had varying degrees of success. There…

I'm in! Already did my P90X this morning and will do some additional cardio today. The H2O will not be a problem, neither will the calories since I am pretty much married to MFP! Good luck everyone!

Welcome! You certainly have the right attitude, and with the tools and support on this site, you can't help but succeed. Feel free to friend me for support. Good luck!!

That's really hard because I like to have a base to go from. I was using my home scale and the ones at the gyms I go to and I just couldn't ever settle on what the real number was. Of course, I always chose the smallest one :). As long as you use the same one going forward, you'll have consistency. one other thing that I…

Don"t let it get you down!! I know, easier said than done. You did it once, you can do it again. Set your mind to it, set realistic goals and move forward one step at a time. I was heavy, lost it all and got into great shape and then let it all go. I finally decided that it was time and now I am on the road back to where I…

Glad you're here! Between the calorie and fitness counters and the support structure, you almost can't miss. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like. Good Luck!
