Don't give up! You've come so far! You can do this!

D2L2 is complete! I'm seriously not digging level 2. I'm gonna keep going, will just be glad to move on. I'm just struggling with the planking type exercises. Just wimpiness! My arms don't like holding my weight! I'll hush now

You will find, Dr. Oz is not a favorite around here. I myself have found many contradictions in his shows. I'm not the fan I once was. Good luck!

I looked at your diary, it seems that either you aren't finished the logging OR your eating way too few calories. I'm no expert, but I've seen lots and lots of threads regarding eating too few calories and NOT losing weight. Just sayin.....

have you thought of freezing 1/2 the loaf?

YUM!

My only advice is to just be aware of the choices you make. You can still have all of the things you love, just maybe not in the quantities you desire. Or up your exercise to burn off some or all of the extra cals you're going to consume. You can do this!

Lead by example! You can't make him go on this journey with you if he doesn't want to. That should be his decision. Maybe if you stop trying to get him to go along and do it just for you, he'll see the benefits and want to join later. I'm not married, but that's just my 2 cents.

I've only been around a short amount of time, but I gotta say, You're one that I see consistent with your views and right out there with your opinions! Thanks!

I started level 2 last night. Oh boy! Have I mentioned that my upper body strength is not up to par? It seems like everything in level 2 requires it. I had a hard time, but I'll keep trying.

at end of level 1: waist 45 upper arm (L) 14.5 (R) 14 thigh (L) 25 (R) 26 Bust 48 hips 50 so total inches lost: 5.50, no pounds lost though. (no starting right arm or right thigh)

I was 200 pounds when I graduated high school in 1990, so honestly, as an adult, I've always been over weight.

if we took all of the suppliments that he recommends, there would be no need for food at all.

Thank you!

Welcome aboard! You'll find a lot of people around here with similar issues. Feel free to add me if you like.

I'm 40, 5'11" 248.8 and I've been doing the shred for 9 days, today will be day 10. I absolutely thought I was going to die the first few days in this program, but I've gotten stubborn about it and I've been pushing thru. I've not had much weight loss with it, but I measured this morning and I'm down 3 inches in my waist.…

Great job!!

I gotta say, my favorite is Catfish, if cleaned properly, breaded with cornmeal/flower mix and fried. Not the most healthy of options. What can I say....

That sounds PERFECT!

I finished day 9! woohoo!
-
Just bumping to see if anyone else has imput!

I will be doing day 9 of level 1 tonight. I'm WAY out of shape, but my stamina is building and I feel good about sticking with it. I'm totally scared of level 2, but I will keep at it. You can do this! I can do this!

I thought about it after seeing the show, but it struck me as another fad. he said that on it, the fat cells would shrivel up yada, but he also said that go off of it, they baloon back out. I don't want any more yo yo up and downs. I want to be healthy and lose weight and keep it off. I looked up the price from Vitamin…

Hey Kelly, I was wondering where you went! I hope you're doing well!!
-
I'm going to do 10 days each regardless of how well I do everything. I will probably go thru all 30 days without doing a push up the way Natalie does. That's not to say that I'm not going to keep trying! That said, once we finish, I'm going to go back thru them in rotation with other workouts.

This!

I just finished day 7, I'm afraid to even look at level 2! I'm huffing and puffing thru it as best as I can and I can tell a difference in my stamina, but it's all still so hard!
-
Day 7 complete! Will I ever be able to do all of the bicycle crunches? I'm doing better on pretty much every thing else, not perfect but better! I consistently fail at the bicycle crunches. UH...I do keep trying though!

I did Day 6! I hope everyone is sticking with it!!
