This is a wonderful message and certainly one we should all remember. Thanks for posting! Leslie

Good job! I really hated level 2 and had to force myself to do it. I started level 3 last night, I actually liked it much better. It was HARD, but I liked it better! I'm looking forward to doing it tonight..how weird is that?

I started level 3 last night! I don't know if it's because I hated level 2 or what, but I loved level 3! Kicked my butt and had me dripping with sweat, but it felt good.

Thanks, that's kind of what I was thinking as well. I've got a LONG way to go! Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!

I'm 40 with kids that are 6, 6, and 8. I'm not sure if I fit the "older mom" or the "younger children"

I just shake my head at some of the comments people let fly sometimes. I weigh in at 240, right now, and there are thin people at work that scoff at me wanting to lose 65 pounds which would put me down to 175. I mean really? I may not hit 175, but I'm gonna try! I want to be in a healthy weight range for my frame. Telling…

Thank you for sharing your story!

Great job!

I heard about CLA a couple of times on Dr. Oz. That was enought to make me decide against it. It's supposed to help cut belly fat.
-
That's great! I think it's a whole new motivation when people start to notice! Great job!

actually, I did level 2 day 8 today, just like going from level 1 to 2, I'm a little afraid of level 3. I won't look at it until it's time to change over.

This week I made my own breakfast sandwiches, and froze them. I used whole wheat english muffins, 1 egg on each, 1 slice of pepperjack cheese on each, and 2 slices of turkey bacon on each. I made 6 and they are around 325 cals each. Not original, but certanly yummy!
-
I didn't manage to get in day 8 yesterday, but i did get it today! I'm having the hardest time remember which day I'm on without coming into this thread and checking myself. what's up with that? How's everyone else doing?
-
I'm here, but not on level 3 yet! I've been cheering you guys on! I'll be on level 3 before too long. I don't remember what day I'm on...how nuts is that?! I think I just finished level 2 day 9, but I need to go back and count. LOl Anyway, you guys are doing great!
-
I did L2d7 last night. will be on day 8 either today or tomorrow, not sure what the rest of today will hold. will be out running around most of the day. Be strong everyone!

I think it could also be in the delivery. If you approached your family as you need to cook MY meals healthier, then I'd most likely take offense and yell. I think you're old enough to pitch in and offer to cook either for yourself or periodically for the family. Either way, jump in, any change is a good one!
-
Agree, I've never heard of adding oil to the pan to cook bacon! I

Just my opinion, but I've tried turkey bacon, I'm not a fan. I will say though, give it a try, it's just not for me. I've done ground turkey and turkey sausage with no issues, but evidently I'm biased when it comes to bacon. I'll have the real deal when I'm ready for it, otherwise I don't have it at all.

I don't know if you get "used" to them or if you just become resigned to them. I have a very HARD time with the planking positions, but I keep trying! Good job on starting level 2!

Is C25K a program you have to purchase? or is it just guidelines to follow?

Maybe someone should consult Dr Oz....

My aunt had bypass surgery and the reason she was told not to drink with her meals is because the liquid takes up space. she needs to eat the 4 oz of FOOD allowed, not waste space with liquid. Just sayin...it had nothing to do with flushing the food thru at a faster rate.
-
I completed L2 day 5 yesterday. The planking exercises are hard for me, but I'm getting more out of it as we go, I'm able to do more as we go! I've heard, not seen, that level 3 has a lot of planking as well. UH... Just keep going!

Take your wins where you get them! a total of 6 inches is great! I understand about wanting to see more losses. I'm still in my same clothes as well, I'll be thrilled when I actually start losing sizes. I think that would be a great motivator for me. Well done on making it thru levels 1 and 2, I hope level 3 rocks for you!

Incredible! You do look at least 10 years younger! AT least! What an awesome achievement, go you!!

Awesome! I so needed to hear this today!
