Wow! Great to see all of the newly pregnant Mamas on this thread! Welcome one and all. Heather - My son's HB in utero was always low. 140 - 150 range. I bet you're having your girl!

Ladies Hi! Heather - Excited your trip is booked! Yay for you and hubby. I'm sorry you're having a blah day...and that the workouts are quite doing it for you. I hope you find something that'll get you through the days and make you happy and content. Smilegirl - Weather is the same here. Blah, blah, blah! Although after a…

Lexi - Fantastic on that 4.0. Wow!!! Good for you. You have alot going on and you're nailing it. Keep it up. Good luck with your finals. Glad your hubby will be home for your scan. Yay!! Heather - What a cool dream about Charlotte! Baby dreams are the coolest. Love that name BTW. I really, really hope your hubby can fly…

Good Morning Ladies, Thanks for the comments and checking in with me! To say I've been busy is an understatement! Now that the move is complete it's time to focus on my son's first birthday party (this Saturday) and returning to work (next Wednesday). One day at a time, right? Smilegirl- Yes, we bought a 100 year old house…

Uh! My workouts have been suffering. Aside from stroller walking I haven't touched any workout DVD's since pre-trip (over 2 weeks ago). I need to get back at it. Feeling gross, despite my eating being (mostly) in check. Baby's battling another cold and I'm finding it hard to get anything done with an extra-cuddly…

Yep, 11 month old is STILL with us in our room (in a Pack and Play). Luckily he sleeps hard. 7pm - 7am. Our two year renovations (100 year old house from a complete gut) are nearly done. We'll move upstairs in a couple of weeks where my one year old's nursey anxiously awaits...to be shared with this new baby coming in…

Good Evening Ladies, Welcome New Mamas! Smilegirl, I know your dilema about finding out the sex of baby. We did not find out with #1 and it was THE BEST surprise EVER (especially nice after 46 hours of labor). I would totally find out what this one is but my husband is dead-set against it. I'm ok with that. I'll be…

Oooh the group is growing...just like our bumps! Back from cruising. What a blast! What I couldn't drink in booze at night I sure made up for it in dessert calories. As of this morning though I'm only up a pound which is what I should of gained this week to stay on track for healthy pregnancy gaining. I owe it all to my…

Great to find you Ladies again... Not sure if I'll ever get caught up in everything I missed these past 8 days. Home from cruisin'. Up only two pounds. 6 pounds total gain at 16 weeks which I'm pretty happy about. Will update photo soon. Obviously pregnant. Strangers were boldly commenting about my baby #2 on the way! Hope…

Aww thanks Heather! I know the fat feeling, too. My jeans are now worn unzipped/unbuttoned (with belly band) but they're just feeling tight throught calves and thighs even. Gross. For the most part I've always been average medium build. Despite my weight I've always had the flat stomach, too. Gained some weight in my early…

YUM! Bump for later.

smilegirl & 1fitmama - So nice to see you here! Oh Heathercrist1 - the first trimester madness. I never ate fast food and crap like I did in my first trimester in my entire life! It was the only food I wanted, everything else turned my stomach. I even through in a night of KFC there. GROSS!!! For the record that's the only…

So happy to "find this forum". Thanks for starting it up heathercrist1! It's going to help me stay motivated for the next 5 months...and beyond. Pregnant with my second baby (7 months after having my first baby!). Was happy to get my body back after my son was born but oh was it a lot of work! I put on over 50 pounds…

I've completed both programs. JM's Shred definitely prepared me for Insanity. Insanity is intense. The workouts are longer and tougher. A real challenge! You'll be proud of yourself when it's done, no doubt about it. Give it a go if you've got the time to commit to the 63 day program six days a week! Challenge yourself.

heathercrist1 - Thank you so much! It's appreciated. After gaining 54 pounds (starting at a healthy BMI) it was a lot of work to get it off (all but 3 pounds in 8 months). Luckily my baby boy naps faithfully at the same times twice a day so I can rely on those times for a workout and a shower. You're a busy girl with your…

Yes I went to the hospital with a baby boy and a baby girl outfit... And once we had our boy the visitors started arriving with plenty of BLUE stuff! I'll bring the same baby boy and baby girl outfit to the hospital this time.

Either will we... We're rare breeds these days it seems! We didn't find out the sex with our first baby either...and after 46 hours of labour it was the BEST surprise of my LIFE!

HERE HERE!! :drinker: (Whew, so much to catch up on in this thread!) Had my NT Scan yesterday which meant new US pics of baby. Already such a profile for nearly 12 weeks. NT scan results will be available in once I've completed my two SIPS blood tests (at 12 +1 and 18 +1 weeks).

Most definitely - If you don't you risk going under 1,200 calories. That's dangerously low and your energy levels during workouts will lack. As well, you probably won't lose weight as your body will cling to every last ounce of fat hoping not to starve. Enjoy the extra calories. You need them working out!

I've done The Shred once. Attempted second round and got sick. Attempted third round and got knocked up. I had a 7 pound loss and lost 7.5 inches. I did nothing else. Did not take a rest day. Tracked my calories. Good luck!
-
ron2282 - I feel your pain. Mine started at the same time. Please to report I think I'm finally coming out of it at 10 weeks now. I can actually consider eating my old favorite foods. AnneElise - Good luck at the Doc today! Everything will just fine. And you're lucky no Morning Sickness (at all?!)! I'm off to our 10 week…

Mmmmm, and you'll smell like Hawaii.

I've also put myself on maintenance. I love having an idea of where I'm at daily (espeically in fibre and sodium). I gained 54 pounds with my first pregnancy (started at a healthy BMI). I lost it in 5 months with A TON of work. It'd be nice this time around to put on a healthier (lower) number.

Me, too! They went really big early on with my first pregnancy. Really big for me anyway (full 36 C). Now that I'm done nursing (as of Dec. 2010) they still haven't grown and they're not sore at all (very small 36 C - could probably be a B cup!). Weird. @AnneElise - How is your rash? Did you figure out what it's from?…
-
I feel for you. That's really rough. Nothing fair about that.

Couldn't have said it better! Hasn't stopped me either. It gives me temporary relief. I'm almost at week 10 and I have to say I'm feeling a bit better today. Fingers crossed.

I will go back beginning of May. I work 12 hour days (paid for 11) so the hours add up fast. We need 600 hours between Maternity Leave claims. So I'll work May 3rd - August 18th (to make 618 hours). I gave my Human Resources Manager at my work the heads up about my pregnancy. She was happy for me. I needed to find out if…

Amanda ~ That's a HORRID morning. I hope the rest of the day is smooth sailing. Poor thing. Yes, I would've called it a day at the liquor smashing. Yesterday my morning sickness hit an all time high. Was mid-diaper change with my 9 month old - started getting the sweats and the watery mouth... Placed him in his playpen -…

Hi Ladies, So happy to find this thread! I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my second child. We gave birth to our son end of April 2010 so our babies are going to be about 16.5 months apart. Other than feeling sick to my stomach all day and into the evening I'm doing ok. Looking forward to the second trimester when hopefully (if…

YUM!!!! A must try. Can't wait! Thanks for the suggestion (hope we can find the products you listed in Canada).
