  • I have been around the same weight now for almost a year. I still have a pouch, have excess skin on my upper arms, and my stomach is still flabby. In my mind, I know it is all extra skin, but it still bothers me. I just have to keep in mind that I was overweight a good part of my teenage years and some of my 20's, almost…
  • I bought a weight watchers scale at Kohl's the other day on sale for $40. It pretty cool! It can store up to four users. It measures weight, BMI, water weight, and body fat percentage.
  • When I first started, I lost 8 pounds the first week. I contributed some of it to water weight though.
  • Thanks! I tracked points in the beginning, but now I don't even bother that much! Sometimes for fun, after I logged my food on MFP I will get my ww calculator and figure up the points. Usually I am spot on! Through it all I have learned what's bad and what's good and what's worth it and what's not, without figuring points.…
  • Thank you! I would say a little of both! WW held me more accountable with the weekly weigh ins and the support of my leader but I learned so much by reading the MFP forums. And logging my food intake on here opened my eyes on to how much I really used to eat. It's crazy to think about how many calories I used to eat in a…
  • Thank you everyone!
  • I bought my first size small shirt a couple weeks ago!
  • Sometimes I eat two blueberry waffles for breasfast, no butter or syrup, for around 190 calories. Yummy option!
  • I have a big weakness for french fries!
  • So excited!! Very glad Jillian is back too.
  • I have her 4 really fast miles dvd and just recently bought the 5 mile dvd. I feel like it's a great work-out! It's how I have lost a lot of my weight.
  • I like the Leslie Sansone walking dvds. I have one entitled Four Really Big Miles. It's about an hour long if you do the whole thing or you can just do one mile at a time. Very flexible and it's a great workout, you're not just walking. I think you can get it at walmart for about $10.
  • Way to go! I've been on ww since April and have lost about 55 lbs :)
  • My cat's name is Sophie. She 9 years old, short black hair, and golden eyes. I saved her from the shelter when she was 4 months old, they said they just found her wondering the streets. I often wonder about her mother and siblings and what happened to them. She likes to lay right in front of me when I'm exercising, drink…
  • Finally made it to the 160s. I never want to get above 170 ever again.
  • I've been doing 2 slim-fast shakes a day, breakfast and supper, for about a month now. Sometimes I only do one a day, but I have lost weight consistently. I don't add anything to my shakes though, as I think they are yummy enough.
  • I just drink when I'm thirsty, which for me is usually about 5 cups of water and one can of diet soda a day. If I were to try to drink the recommended amount of water per day, I would be in the restroom all day. To me that just seems counterproductive.
  • I'm doing both. I love WW because of the meetings and it keeps me accountable for the weigh-ins, especially since they are on Mondays nights (it helps keep me on track during the weekend). I love MFP for tracking my food and exercise and the forums. Started MFP in January and lost about 20 pounds, gained all but 2 back.…
  • I had mine taken out in June 2009. I was completely knocked out for it. After I woke up they told me my mouth was really small to work with. They struck a nerve and the left side of cheek filled up with blood. On top of that I got an infection and had to take antibiotics. Had an hour drive home and was in tears by the time…
  • 1. Your stats... Age: 23 Height: 5'3" Body Frame: Medium Weight: 186 Jeans size: 16 2. How tall are you? Do you like your height? I'm 5'3 and yes I like it! 3. A picture of your thinspiration. What features do you like about this person? I have a pic of my cousin and I from before I started gaining. 4. Your greatest fears…
  • Fried egges over easy with natures seasoning. I just spray the pan with a little bit of pam. Or scrambled eggs seasoned with natures seasoning with ketchup or on a flour shell with a little bit of cheese and red taco sauce. Yum!
  • Some of my fav snacks include pre-cut veggies with ranch dip, granola bars (I like Nature Valley), yogurt, 100 calorie bag of popcorn, pretzel crisps, and apple slices.
  • I actually stay the same, sometimes even losing weight while on my period. Of course I have some extra cravings, but I try not to give in. If I do give in then I just exercise a little more that day.
  • Single here too.
  • Been doing it on the wii since the middle of April. Have lost 26 pounds and almost two pant sizes so far!
  • I rest in between days. Maybe doing it everyday would help me build up to it more, then rest on the weekends? I might try that.
  • Every morning, but I officially track it on mondays.
  • I'm doing it. I just did week 2 day 1 today. The 3 minute jog today just about killed me and wednesday I have to jog for 4 minutes. I can't wait till I can run a little easier. I may have to repeat week 2.
  • I do once a week! Usually it's a tostado from my favorite mexican restaurant with chips and salsa. I just eat the meat, cheese, and lettuce, and leave the flour shell. Or sometimes I go to McDonalds and get a cheeseburger and a small frie. It hasn't stalled me yet.
  • That is a great start! I remember how happy I was when my blood pressure went from being borderline high to normal. We have got to celebrate the little victories along the way!
