Yeah! Doing that can be so insightful! Great job, and best of luck with the next 25!

I second the idea of a work out DVD. If you want to focus on your legs, thighs, and behind Elements: Ballet is great. If it is core you want Elements: Pilates for weight loss is not bad either. I need the motivation as well. Best of luck!

A cruise on Lake Coeur d' Alene almost 19 years ago!

Couldn't agree more with that last reason! It makes me more confident, and that is exciting to him as well! I also like to feel strong, able to try new sports, and not getting winded climbing a flight of stairs. As well, I finally put on a bikini for the first time in 25 years last summer, and by gosh I am going to do it…

I was there too! I am 5'2" and at my heaviest was 200 lbs. That was in 2008. Your goal is possible, as many have already stated. There are many who want to see you succeed! I got down to 125 last year, and slowly put some back on so it is time for me to get serious again. Congratulations on making the decision to regain…

I think it is easy to get busy and stressed and not eat. Have you tried to keep some healthy snacks in your purse while you are on the go? I usually always have some sort of nuts with me (keep an eye on portions), as well as water, and a fruit. Totally understand the rut thinking, I am there a bit too... maybe mix it up by…

I didn't figure 1982 was the year you graduated high school  ?? Was that cheating??

@cyrenamae - starting on this site is a great move! There are lots of encouraging folks trying to get in shape; and giving advice, encouragement, and support. Take it from a mom of 5, this is not easy! You can only do it for you though, and keep in mind, the healthier you are, the healthier your kids will be. They take…

Height: 5'2" Age: 45 SW: 199 (in 2007) CW: 141 GW: 120 I am amazed at all the young ones on here! Good job to start out healthy from your 20s! Much easier than trying to change old bad habits!

Caution... you may be feeling a bit run down because you are becoming a bit anemic (not enough red blood cells). Check with your doctor first, but you may need an iron supplement, not more calories.

SW: 199 (2007) CW: 140 GW: 120 I got down to 125 this last summer, but then started traveling a bunch for my job and found I couldn't stick to my exercise routine. Gained 15 pounds in 7 months!!! Yikes! Time to trim down again!

Han Solo.... cuz I adore Harrison Ford.

45 and enjoying life!

The afternoons are hardest. I find that almonds (around 12 or so) really help to curb any hunger pains. Even a small tangerine, or fruit of some sort helps. Also, you can try what is known as a 'zero point' soup. There are some that are available by Progresso. It isn't that they don't have calories, but they satisfy…

From what I understand, there are no exercises to make your breasts decrease in size, specifically. Since they have not grown with your weight gain, I would guess they will not decrease with your weight loss efforts. If the suggestion from your physician is due to back issues, you can attempt to target making your back…

I hate exercise too. Running hurts my knees, walking on a treadmill is boring, lifting weights is repetitive and not very fun. There are a couple of things I do like. My favorite is Zumba. I do not recommend getting a DVD and doing it by yourself in your living room. There is no motivation there. The fun and the motivation…
