Day 5 and all is well...sure hope it gets easier...I find myself walking to the cupboards and fridge constantly, looking in them...wondering if it is just a matter of time before I start diving in. Hopefully sticking to this challenge will break the habit.

I really think this challenge is helping keep me from the cupboards after cut off time...I keep saying to myself "its only been 4 days, you can't go longer than that?" so I grab the glass of water and go sit down. I think this site is very helpful. HUGE IMPACT already...congrats to everyone for keeping up the challenge.

Yes, riding counts..but if you are riding at a slow walk - it is the actual physical exercise of tacking up, and tacking off that would be the bigger exercise...if riding for you is trotting and loping it burns a bit more calories. Long rides burn more of course, but I think we need the riding for theraputic purposes..as…

One night down and counting..my cutoff is eary - 8:00pm...it is very comforting to know when I got hungry for the "nighttime snacks" that I was having to be accountable for breaking a challenge...so water it was...

This too is my downfall...I have normally consumed the majority of my daily calories after suppertime...this is going to be the hardest "lifestyle" change to make for me...along with the drinking water...
