I was going to say just this. I'm much more likely to binge if I don't plan my day out in advance. Also I grab a book and go for a long soak in the bath. 9 times out of 10 I'm either too tired to be bothered to make anything by the time I get out or the urge has passed. x

Its the last few pounds that are the hardest to shift. They will come off eventually, it just takes longer. Stick with it x

Its " cleavage Monday" Only a guy could have thought that one up:laugh:

I usually burn around 300 according to my HRM. I'm 5ft 9.5 and 160 lbs if that helps.

That sounds great! Its my husband that has depression, but me who binge eats because he's having a bad day - his moods affect the whole household. So having somewhere to vent is really going to help. Thanks for starting the group.

Bumping for later because I'd be interested in finding a good dvd too.

I'd say rest, your body needs all the energy it can get to fight off the cold and heal before you get back into exercising. I hope you feel better very soon.

Not strictly a marinade but I love smokey bbq sauce and a little bit of melted cheese on my chicken breast.

Sometimes just getting through that 10 minute mark is the important bit. On days when I have to drag myself off to exercise those first 10 mins are torture, but once I break through the 11 min mark I feel so much better, I think it takes that long for the body to warm up properly and start getting those feel good chemicals…

Same here this week. :o( I don't know why but I got very sluggish this week. My asthma hasn't been great, although I can't really use that as an excuse, its probably worse because I haven't done much exercise *rolls eyes* I'm back to eating well and exercising as of today.

I like the leslies sansone dvds too, but my favourite work out dvds are by Jillian michaels. The 30 day shred is a great place to start. Its a tough work out but only 20 mins long and you dont need much space to do it in

As a rule I don't mind pet names, but if a hot chick kept calling my hubby honey and darling I might think otherwise!

Bio oil will reduce the redness, and once they go silvery they are much less obvious, but unfortunately they will never go away. My stomach looks like a road map :o(

I just wanted to say stay away from Jillian michaels kettle bell dvd ( Shred it with weights), I love JM and have nearly all of her work outs but this one falls way below her usual standard.I'm still looking for a good one so I'll watch this thread with interest.
-
Ok, just wanted to check, you'd be surprised by how many people don't. I hope you find the solution.

I don't have that particular HRM but do you wet the sensors on the chest strap before you put it on? If they arn't wet it wont work properly.
