OP, admittedly, I only read the first few responses and scanned the rest, but I'm not sure you're getting this... It seems what you're saying is you should lose more than 2 pounds a week because you CAN. That it's easy for you. It's doable. The question isn't if it's easy or doable, it's SHOULD you? IMHO, you should set…

I'm in... What should we track this time?

7/17 - 0 7/18 - 10 7/19 - 30 7/20 - 40 7/21 - 30 Total = 110 + 340 = 450

I met a guy at the gym with shoulder pain. He referred me to a chiropractor who also did ART, or Active Release Technique. I had several sessions that helped tremendously. I also had ibuprofen shots in each shoulder. Immediate relief and mobility and non-steroidal. I'm not 100% but much better and can lift pain free 99% of…

It appears I broke my promise to stay on top of this... *winces*

I've been reading your thread the past couple of days. I appreciate you documenting this (as well as the sense of humor of all the contributors). I thought I would chime in not to hijaak the thread but to support your experience with my own. My story: I'm doing my first bulk too... at 64 it's a scary thing to do on many…

7/14 = 40 + 260 = 300 (shoulda been 7/15) 7/16 = 40 + 300 = 340 (pretty low on cals & carbs but it was a rest day) Good job for both of you! Michele, IMHO you shouldn't worry about carbs until your Tri is over.

Glad to hear the protein pursuit is going well, M. It's tough but with your culinary skills you have an advantage. You can make great natural protein based dishes. Even with a recipe, I'm toast... fwiw, check out @videomeals on IG. Seem to have a lot of dishes... They sure look pretty anyway

7/14 = 40 + 260 = 300 The stars were aligned yesterday for some reason. Way over on protein.
-
Sorry for slacking off on recording. It seems to always be something to do "later" but I need to stop thinking like that... You guys deserve better... 7/10 = 20 7/11 = 30 7/12 = 20 7/13 = 10 7/14 = 30 Total - 110 + 150 = 260

<<< And can someone help me with my shirt? I'm all tangle up

Are we abandoning this thread to add the protein to the July Challenge?
-
Okay, I'm back... 7/6 = 40 7/7 = 40 7/8 = 30 7/9 = 40 Total = 150
-
I'll catch up tomorrow. I promise.

July 7: 10 + 10 = 20
-
Thanks! July 6th: 10 points I even found a few more grams of protein! Somehow the cottage cheese amount got messed up (for several days now)
-
looks like we're taking July off
-
And then there was one... What d'ya say M?
-
I picked last time...
-
But you had a great time... Nothing is unfixable... And you're unstoppable...

6/29: 10 + 710 = 720 Thanks, Mimi. Not my best month for sure. It takes a lot of daily effort to stay on top of this. My daily calories were constantly below 2400. Funny how eating a lot is so difficult when you're trying to control your macros...
-
6/26: 30 + 660 = 690 6/27: 0 + 690 = 690 (didn't log) 6/28: 0 + 690 = 690 (didn't log) 6/29: 20 + 690 = 710 I didn't log on purpose. Decided to just drink and have fun eating all the foodz
-
I just realized I've been using 10 as my macro limit instead of 20. *facepalm*
-
6/24: 40 + 580 = 620 6/25: 40 + 620 = 660 Back on a roll
-
6/22: 10 + 560 = 570 (close to perfect until I realized I forgot to log chicken and beef for lunch) 6/23: 10 + 570 = 580 (I don't wanna talk about it ) Looks like we're all sucking this week lol
-
Catching up... 6/19: 30 + 500 = 530 6/20: 30 + 530 = 560 6/21: 0 + 560 = 560 (total disaster... moving on)
-
Haha! *grabs her hand and swings her up onto wagon*
-
Understood... thanks
-
6/17: 30 + 430 = 460 6/18: 40 + 460 = 500

Guess we lost Don for now... the original Cage Trio it is then
