i too burn 250-400 per cardio session. If i run 5 miles @ a 9:30 pace i only burn, maybe 380-400 calories. i do it al the time. but i go during the lunch time and theres hardly anyone in there. But if theres someone on the machine, i ask them if they are almost done or i redo my routine and do another machine. People are nice in the machine and always ask first before jumping in

i use the stick. I really ache on my long runs (anything over 14 miles) and i use the stick all over. Next day im fine no aches. You just have to keep rolling on your muscles several time. I love it!

the sensors i swear has to be sopping wet for it to pick up your heart rate! thats a good thing, but when you forget the strap in your car and its 30 degrees out...its kinda nippy when you put it on!!

i try to have food thats high in protien and fibe since they will make you fuller longer. i also eat every 3-4 hours to keep my metabolism up. snacks would be also high in protien such as yogurt, cottage cheese, cheese sticks, hummus.

i prefer to run outside, but i do use the TM during my lunchtime @ work or when the weather is bad, mainly ice or heavy rain. Other than that im outside running. I enjoy the outdoors and ive ran in temps below 30 degrees and i really love it when it snows. and to me its warmer when its snowing vs. no snow!

Even Jillian Michaels will say, you cant spot reduce. You can tone those problem areas, but if you want to reduce fat, then its based on your diet and exercise

i wouldnt worry about natural sugars (fruit, honey). its the processed stuff i would worry about, especially in fat free foods. they say fat free, but do you notice how much sugar is added just so that it tastes good!??!

i use to drink that, but with my trainer and friends who all lift they suggested Optimum Nutrition. i helps me get the extra protien during the day that i normally cant get and no its not a waste of $, but i do suggest getting something good. You get what you pay for

sounds like your body is going into starvation mode. I would bring your calories up, maybe 1500-1600 calories.
