Welcome back

We are close...I'm 5'2" CW 170 GW 143
-
I'm 5'2" and my goal weight is 143. I tend to be solidly muscular and I am 56 years old. 143 is the high end of the chart...will see what it is like when I get there. Haven't been that small for a while. At 170 I wear a medium shirt size and 12 to 14 size pants..so think much less than 140 would be too thin.

Wow! Remarkable. Like you said lost a half a person. Congratulations!
-
I would be happy to be your friend.
-
Congratulations on the 365 days.

Maybe joining a team challenge would help. There are a lot of good ones out there.

There is a goodie but oldie book out there: Recipes for a Small Planet...that tells you how much protein is in each serving...has wonderful combinations of beans, rice, cheese, veggies and whole grains. Kate

With the additional exercise you may have gained more muscle and losing 4 lbs is good for being so close to goal.
-
Like you in the black one best!

I would suggest getting it in a glass bottle. The acidic content can break down some of the pcv in plastic. You don't want to drink plastic.

I'm 56...You can add me as a friend...I have diabetes type 2 so have to restrict carbs. I live in Iowa. Kate

Try adding some flaxseed meal to your diet...healthy omega 3 fatty acids as well as some good fiber to promote bowel movement. reply to me if want a bread recipe that uses the flaxseed meal.

Welcome and way to hang in there.

Welcome Joe!:drinker:
-
You have come a long way already
-
Do you have room for one more?

I used to weigh 220 lbs at 5 foot 2 inches. Over a few years of being more active I am down to 170 lbs. I have been in that vicinity for maybe 5 years. Now I want to lose more. It didn't seem to take any effort to stay in the 170 lb. It might be helpful to lose it slow as a life change.

Clint Eastwood and Sean Connery are still some of the sexiest men I know even with aging. This was in response to the guy concerned about more wrinkles.

I wouldn't worry about going over some in the protein category and if you are sticking to mostly natural sugars and do not have a blood sugar problem I would not worry about it. I'm diabetic so I try to go lower carb and more protein and fats than they recommend. kate

those scales are so fickle. It is recommended that we don't weigh ourselves daily. I can get really attached to that scale.
-
Welcome back! I am back after being gone since last January.

It sounds like you have some great ideas on exercise. I was taking care of my granddaughters recently and some good exercise was having them chase me around the house. Start with something that will work for you, something you can realistically stick to long term. As a grandparent I would watch your kids while you got…

Congratulations on reaching your goal weight...thanks for the inspiration and pictures!

Grain free french toast 1 egg 1 heaping tsp of cottage cheese 1 heaping teaspoon almond flour Add a touch fo baking powder, cinnamon and vanilla. Mix & cook in butter or coconut oil like a pancake. Scale up to 2 eggs and some egg whites and end up with 2 big pieces This is good for those on low carb diets
