Big boobs are over-rated! LOL! They will hurt your back. I know from experience! I've lost 27 pounds now, and went down from a DD to a D. Even just that small loss helped my back pain a lot! Also, like you mentioned, I am un-even too. :blushing: I get a muffin top, especially on the left. The worst part is I have to wear a…

Whew! That's done! I'm just glad it doesn't post a status about weight gain! LOL!! I know it brags on you when you lose!

I apparently got a really good digital scale, because it is very consistant and weighs me the same when I double- and triple-check it. The only time it was off was funny because it said I weighed 68.4 pounds & I freaked out! I lifted the scale, and somehow a ponytail holder was underneath it. LOL!! I moved that and put it…

Thanks! I was holding on to option "b" for this past month, but getting tired of not logging my progress. I was kind of figuring I should go for option "a", so That's what I'll do. A few numbers will change, but I know that "I" haven't changed. I am still losing weight. On a positive note, this just means when I reach my…

Thanks again, everybody! :smooched: I'm feelin' the love!! LOL!

How about a big leaf of lettuce stuffed with your favorite lunch meat or canned chicken or tuna, then rolled up... Maybe stuffed with a little cheese or dill relish? Hold it together with a toothpick until lunchtime. Or a tortilla shell smeared with refried beans and salsa... rolled up or burrito style. Cooked baby carrots…

Thanks again for all the support and encouragement!

Thanks!!

Thanks for the encouraging thoughts! It's great people like you that keep me going!

I'm about 5' 4.5' and about medium frame. I started when I weighed somewhere over 173 pounds (that's my best guess because I found out later my scale was off.) My goal is 140, and I'm currently fluctuating from 146.5 to 150-ish pounds. Thanks for asking, and I hope that helps!

Thanks, everybody! If I can do this, YOU can too! Keep up the good work! I can't wait to see YOUR progress pictures too!
-
Thanks! I couldn't have done it without support and motivation from my new friends here, sharing common goals brings us together!!! LOL!! I just noticed in one of the pictures, you can see my dogs... they motivate me by demanding me to take them for walks!! I love those furry babies!!

O yeah! I forgot about freecycle.org You can get FREE stuff that people in your area are just throwing out!

I was wearing a lot of draw-string and elastic waist pants until I got to go shopping. Is there an outlet store near you? I got a few really good pairs of jeans at Vanity Fair Outlet for $4.99-9.99 each. You could also check LaneBryant.com or some other major department store websites and go through their clearance items.…

#4... I vote for this one! I actually work as a nanny for a teacher. She gets all kinds of gifts, but her most appreciated are the gift certificates to the teacher's supply stores. Office Depot, Staples, Office Max are some of the bigger chains, but don't overlook those parent/teacher stores that are small businesses.

Lady, you look beautiful before AND after! But the AFTER is a more healthy, confident and much happier-looking you!!

Try equal amounts of yogurt and berries with just enough milk to thin it out to the consistency you like. Good luck, and have fun!
-
The B complex vitamins do that to me.
-
OK, thanks! If I don't find something better soon, I'll add that to my Christmas wish list! (Unless I order it on payday! )
-
I haven't seen them at my local Wal-Mart yet. I'll ask them to order some though. $30 is VERY affordable! Is it pretty accurate?
-
Yes! They must be separated for me to be comfortable! :blushing:

Hey!! Congrats on your big loss so far!! :) That's fantastic! Before you set a goal too low, did you check the BMI for someone our height? I have a medium frame, so I set my goal towards the middle of a healthy BMI for my height. If you have a larger frame, you could set your goal towards the higher end of healthy. Looks…

Forgot to mention... if you're watching sodium too, Zaxby's is OFF THE CHART!

Oh, Wow!! I had to click and see what was in this thread... I hate sports bras. No matter what kind I try on, it looks like I have a uni-boob! One big wide boob. Why does a sports bra have to squish them together like that? I gotta have my underwire, to lift and separate the "twins" so they don't go Siamese! LOL!!
-
OK, just so y'all are warned... stay away from Zaxby's too. I got a grilled chicken sandwich thinking it would be the low-cal item on the menu, but it was WAYY high too, even without the honey mustard sauce. 701 calories for just the sandwich, 577 without the sauce. If you get fries too, 1071 calories, even without a…

Well, I don't use aspartame at ALL. I'm allergic to it, so I stay away from it. If I have to use a low-cal sweetener, I use Splenda. It's safe to mix with sugar because it's MADE from sugar. I don't know exactly if or how dangerous it is to mix artificials with real sugar, just that MY Dr. advised ME not to. You might want…
-
I'd be scared to mix a diet drink (artificial sweetener) with the cake mix which has real sugar in it. A Dr. once advised me to never mix sugar with artificial stuff. But I like the ginger ale/spice cake, and the cream soda/french vanilla cake combinations! I would just use a soda with another form of natural sweetener…

I would think just doing some basic body-building excercises mixed with some cardio to trim the fat should do both for you just fine. Jillian Michaels does circuit training, which is both, I believe. Just keep up with what you're doing and you will be doing a lot better than me! :) You are doing GREAT, and you are a role…

My problem is the opposite, I weigh MORE on the Dr's scale. About 8 pounds more. I don't know if it's actually the scale itself, or if it's because when I weigh at home it's early in the morning before I get dressed or eat/drink anything. I guess I'll know for sure when I go for a fasting blood sample for my cholesterol…
