can you please share where you got this information? Even when I plug my goal into MFP (and I have 75+ pounds to lose) it still "tells" me that losing 1 pound per week is the best goal for me. I've never heard any other source quote your weekly drop by your present weight.

oh yeah, definately don't think you have to lose 100 pounds, that's DAUNTING!. I work in 5 pound incriments and concentrate on that.

If I haven't eaten in 3 hours then I eat, regarless of the time or how close it is to when I go to bed. Granted what I would eat at 10.30 PM is a light snack, not a meal, I would still eat something to try to keep my blood sugars as level as possible.

the American teaspoon is a measuring device, the british tea spoon is actually for tea. LOL I think OP was refering to the measuring device since there are three teaspoons (not the ones for tea) in a tablespoon.

I went this morning for the first time! It's a 50 meter pool and I managed to go back and forth 12 times in half an hour, non stop. It won't qualify me for the olympics (this year!) but man, it felt amazing! I've never swam laps before in my life but I don't think I'll be stopping any time soon!

healthy, fit people in "normal' sizes (whatever that may mean) do eat chocolate. Just not in mass quantities and not all the time. if you're logging it and being honest about it, it's fine.
