I lost my first 30 pounds and maintained it for 7-8 months before I started losing any more. I'm now working hard at it again and plan to be at my goal weight (so dropping an additional 90 pounds) in two years.

I just wanted to add that if you really want to increase fiber that raspberries, pears, kiwis and avacado actually have more fiber than an apple and a pear is just as easy for transport (realizing the others aren't as simple to eat on the go).

another Pink Lady fan here! They're super crunch and pretty sweet. It's the only apply I buy lately! If you're more of a cruchy and sour person you could try the Granny Smiths. I also like Jazz apples but I can't always find them. They're borederline hard so if you're looking for a super crunchy apple it's a way to go.

WOW! 12.5 kilos is an amazing loss! Of course they can tell! I've only lost my first 3 or so kilos but people I see daily have already commented on the change in my face. It's the first place I lose weight apparently. Good for my face, not so good for my butt! LOL Congrats on your loss.

Keeping "well under your calorie goals" is more than likely the problem rather than adding in healthy fruits to your diet. You need calories (calories = energy) to fuel your body for those really hard training days. Don't be afraid of them, they're not the enemy! break your goal down in much smaller goals and it won't seem so overwhelming! Shoot for half a stone, or even a quarter... and when you reach that... celebrate... and start reaching for the next quarter stone.

My hightest adult weight was 301. I'm down to 270 right now. I joined MFP just 20-ish days ago and am loving it so far ( for clarity, I lost the 30 pounds last year over the entire course of the year. I didn't join MFP and 20 days later am 30 pounds lights.)
