  • I have the same thing happen to me too. I've also noticed that with the lovely hormone fluctuations that come with peri menopause don't help much either. I can literally go up and down 5+ pounds overnight. Frustrating! I also have food allergies. Including gluten. If I venture into gluten land, I blow up like a balloon. It…
  • I'm allergic to many protein rich foods (dairy, eggs, soy, nuts). If it weren't for meat & fish I'd starve. LOL
  • Cardiovascular nearly every day and heavy lifting twice a week. I vary my workout based on what I did the day before. I try to work in resistance training whenever I can. For example, 78 mile bike ride on Sunday, recovery day with a brisk dog walk on Monday, Spin Class this morning, heavy lift with Precor AMT or Treadmill…

  • 5'10" 4/4: 151.2 4/11: 151.2 4/18: 148.4 A week of packing & moving and not eating that well. Hmmm.... I have no idea! LOL Goal: 147
  • I went from 36C to 34D. I needed a smaller band. LOL Wish I could have the same impact on the belly fat! ;-)
  • 5'10" 4/4: 151.2 4/10: 151.2 Goal: 147
  • 5'10" SW: 151.2 Goal: 147
  • End of challenge. Made no progress. 3/2: 150# 3/8: 152# 3/16: 150# 3/23: 150.8# 3/30: 151.6# Was down last Friday to under 150. I had a food allergy issue yesterday and look like the Stay Puff Marshmallow man today. I know it will take a few days for the histamine to exit my body. Bring on April!
  • Great job @karenoneill94!
  • 3/2: 150# 3/8: 152# 3/16: 150# 3/23: 150.8# I give up. I'm keeping my calories in deficit and still no loss.
  • @kennedyer627 I'm 5'10" and have a short torso as well. So frustrating. Especially since that seems to be where my fat seems to reside! It seems we are even shooting for the same weight range too. :)
  • OK...Back to my SW... SW: 150 CW: 150 I don't think I"ll be losing 4-5# in the next two weeks to meet the challenge. That doesn't seem like safe weight loss for me. When I started this journey 80 days ago, I should have met my goal of 140-145 weeks ago. The closest I've gotten is 148. **sigh** Frustrated.
  • I fold laundry while standing. And anyone who's folded a fitted sheet will tell you it is a HIIT workout. LOL ;)
  • I've logged both stairs and steps while driving. I've also logged steps folding laundry...especially when I "shake out" towels & jeans before folding.
  • Charge HR for Christmas. :)
  • OK...I weighed again this morning: SW: 150 CW: 152 (down nearly 2# from yesterday)
  • Not sure what is going on. SW: 150# CW: 153.8#? I did lift on Saturday and so there may be some water retention going on still. My clothes are not tighter though....so I'm not bloated. Any ideas? Maybe my scale needs a new battery or has gone bad after 15 years in the bathroom? LOL Maybe I'm sleepwalking to the kitchen and…
  • My mom & sister routinely tell me I'm anorexic and that since I'm tall, I can carry extra weight. Um.....no. :p
  • @angie_kins ...I'm 5'10"... I got down to 143 for my daughter's wedding (nearly 4 years ago now). I was aiming for 145 so I think it was the stress of it all that dropped me under 145. I maintained 145 -150 for quite some time after that. In high school I was an athlete, playing basketball in the winter and was an…
  • I also wear maidenform bras....34D....and I get them at either Target or Kohl's. I guess I never thought of ordering them from Amazon. Great idea @Aakani! My workout bras are Moving Comfort, Fiona 34D as well. Although they don't seem to give in the band over time. So I may try a 36 C so I have a little more flexibility to…
  • Here's something from Huffington post.... http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/11/03/are-you-big-boned-truth_n_6075706.html
  • @tracefan I've been told I'm "fine boned" based on my wrist circumference. I wonder where the terms originated? Hmmm.....
  • I'll join in too! 5'10" CW: 150 GW March 31: 145 UGW: 135-140
  • I have the same thing happen in photos sometimes. The camera can always make you look a bit heavier than you really are. Then add in the incorrect angles and really, really bad lighting, and your mind will play tricks on what you are really seeing. Do you have other pictures you can compare to? That said, when I got…
  • Q_Is_Poison....you are cracking me up! Sometimes people can't handle the truth...because sometimes the truth just sucks. :)
  • OMG! If I hear "You are tall so you can carry a bit more weight." from my mom and sister again...I'm going to lose my mind! I so get it.
  • I do short distance (think 5k) and cycling. I try to rotate days and sometimes I cycle in the am and run in the pm. I'm in my mid 40s too, so I totally get what you said in your earlier post.
  • OMG! Yes! My body has become very sensitive to sodium as I've gotten older. When I cook at home, I don't normally eat processed foods. But if I go out for a meal...*POOF*....hello jelly belly. :p
