I am seeing exercise calories in the 800-1200 calorie range in your diary and you are barely eating 1200 calories. Bump your intake up a bit. You don't want to be canalizing your hard earned muscle and you need the extra calories for energy.

You absolutely have to eat at least 1200 calories. If you are actively working out every day you can and should go higher than that. When I work out I eat back about 1/3 of my exercise calories. If you are going to increase your calories I would opt for the lower number and see what happens. You can always increase later. I am a little leary about the accuracy of the exercise calories.

If you add some nuts or a piece of cheese with some fruit you will be able to up your calories or just eat more of what you are already eating.

TDEE is total daily energy expenditure. You can calculate it at the web sites above. Most posters agree that you should eat b/w you BMR and your TDEE i believe. Unscientifically, I agree with eating more. When I had my son 42 yrs ago I breastfed for 9 mo and at that time I was not watching my weight. It is very good, tastes like hamburger only a bit drier. Lower in fat than hamburger and a healthy alternative. Go for it. Edit: I am talking about ground bison to make into a hamburger. That is the only way I have had it.
