Bump...but I did it a much easier way and just told mfp that I wanted to maintain my current weight and them figured out my bmr so that I'll know what I should be eating, etc...this is a very cool method for determining your daily deficit...

Congratulations on taking the first steps to a healthier you. I only have over piece of advice for you...Make sure you log everything. Even if it is something not so healthy or a lot of calories, log it!!! Holding yourself accountable is the most important thing you can do.

I did the big chop about 2 years ago and I'll never go back...lol...for the gym I just do about 8 chunky twists and put them up in a ponytail and keep it moving...

My husband and I have put side 500 dollars (about $10 a lb) in a special account for me to spend on a new wardrobe once I reach my goal weight. Its there just waiting on me...just like my healthy weight. Lol

This is a wonderful post...I especially love the part about if you're still hungry after you've eaten all your calories for the day you just have something small anyway. I will definitely be heeding that advice. Anyway keep up the good work.
