Don't bread them, the skin will crisp nicely if you bake at a high temperature. But most of the calories are from the skin I am guessing.

Where I am from, we call them "bunny froo-froos" They just take up space on the equipment.

Yeah just say no. They'll get over it. You shouldn't let someone's attitude ruin your diet. I say no all the time. Now people just don't ask anymore! You can join in the "social" part of it by having a cup of coffee, or whatever.

To me, non-fat sour cream tastes just like the full fat, so I'd go with that. If you want to avoid butter items, you can also bake these guys, I'd just spray lightly with a non-stick cooking spray. You could also just put them stovetop and sautee with a lower fat version of butter/olive oil. I think they'd be great with…

Simple yoga/stretching while listening to relaxing music. I don't know why, but stretching really helps me calm down.

It really just takes a long time. I've been at this for 6 months or so? lost about 4-6 pounds (depending on the week). I still waver every week. However, I've been able to keep at that lower range for a few months now. I have 3-5 pounds to go. I aim to lose only 0.5 lbs per week. Otherwise you probably won't be able to…

Lactaid makes a lactose free skim milk, you can also find calcium enriched. I got used to it quickly after having to switch from regular milk.

The fine print.... you have to only consume 500 calories per day for it to "work". Therefore, it doesn't work! You lose weight because you're starving yourself. It's dangerous, creepy and all hype.

I like the land o lakes spreadable butter with canola oil. Tastes pretty good and it's easy to spread so you don't have to have a "clump" of butter on your toast.

I used to have the same problem. I had to "train" myself to eat in the morning by starting really slowly. I find toast to be very easy to eat. You can use whole wheat/ double fiber bread and some low fat spread or jam of your choice. Start by eating 1 or 2 bites, then increase the amount in a few days and so on.

I don't know. I just always put mine under "circuit training" or I make up a name for it and add it to exercises and give it estimated calories. So mine always comes up under cardio, but I know I'm doing weight training. Though circuit training really is both if you work hard enough.

I am at your same place. I only want to lose 5 pounds and it is tough, but it would be the weight I was at a few years ago, which is completely reasonable for me. But it IS tough to get very lean. I think the key is to be patient. And to try to mix up workouts. I am going to start a new workout regimen this month- do…

How long have you been trying to lose the weight? Be patient. You are trying to lose "the last" 5-10 pounds. That is really hard!! Try aiming to lose no more than a half a pound a week. You are so close to your goal, that it's going to take time and will likely be a slow process; it could take months. But if you do it…

I can usually estimate based on how full I feel and how many hours until I am very hungry again. I know that if I eat 200 calories, I will be hungry in about 2 hours. You could try to figure that number out for yourself (based on stuff you eat at home). Then, see how long you stay full after a meal out.

I use "designer whey" powders and mix them in skim milk. One "shake" is about 200 calories then. it's a great post-workout snack! And they taste pretty good too. This will give you lots of protein as well as calcium!

I looked at the test and I think it's quite odd. It makes more sense to consider the width of your shoulders combined with the natural width of your hipbones. This takes a large part of the body into account and is more accurately your "frame". Not sure if anyone has come up with a "formula" for these parameters... though…

Don't worry about it!! You can lift! And certainly don't assume that others at the gym know what they are doing!! Real lifters won't stare at you like you're weird. I learned by reading and then by trying and listening to my muscles. The most important thing is to really feel your muscles while you perform a certain…

That's been my main problem too. I try to snack on popcorn, veggies, drink decaf tea/iced tea, or cottage cheese or a glass of milk. If all else fails, I get into bed. I usually try not to eat after 10 p.m. but that's my schedule as I don't go to bed til later and don't eat dinner til around 7:30/8. For me it's also a…
