Beautiful! Congrats!

How small of an increment does your scale weigh you in? 0.1 increments Are you maintaining or attempting to change your weight? I would think a person that is maintaining would be slightly more relaxed with minor operational fluctuations. Losing. Do you step on more than once to verify a weight? If so, if it is the next…

Aaaaaah!!! @Vonny198334 that is incredible!!! What an amazing NSV!!! @HDBKLM - I went through something similar earlier this year where the scale stayed the same but over a month or so, I actually got smaller. I take regular progress photos and when I went back to compare the difference, even I could see a change. I'm glad…

And I to you, @Vonny198334 ! Haha, I also find myself squeezing into corners, remembering the gravitational pull of my bulk until I realize there's like enough space to fit a whole 'nother person and then I'm like, "FOUND IT!" Like I was searching for something. Our minds WILL catch up. So it must BE. hehe

Truthfully, I have some of the same struggles if not for slightly different reasons. I tend to get caught up in believing how "thin" I am from people's comments. "You're so skinny!" "Don't get too skinny!" Vanity sizing doesn't help this either as it reinforces my feeling of being "skinny". I am not as heavy as I once was…

I can absolutely wear heels better now. I mean, to some extent, I'll never find heels cozy-comfortable? But being lighter, I can wear them longer! I hope I'll be able to wear them even more easily when I reach goal, but even where I am right now, I can wear heels all day at work (note: I wear chunky heels because my face…

Congrats! You look awesome!

In my head, I am much bigger. Much wider. Much more round. In reality, it does not take much at all to shove me out of place. I used to be a fixture, hoping that if I pulled myself in, I could be smaller. Less environmental and more transient. Now, I forget that I am not a force of mass and gravity and find myself…

What inspiration! You're amazing!! The difference is striking and the changes sparkle in your beautiful smile!

Congratulations!! You look awesome!

I gained on Freestyle (I did it with a friend at the start of this year when I chose to lose the final pounds to goal). Not much, about 2kg over the course of a month and a half. Chicken is free. I can easily overeat grilled chicken. I ate lots of grilled chicken with free vegetables. Yet, I was gaining. Constantly under…

I don't consider myself on a wagon, really, largely because 'falling off' of a wagon frames an action as a failure. So I try to work hard to understand what it is that I want, and how what I want will affect my long-term goals. In this way, I try to make sustainable changes for me while balancing want (living/enjoying/etc)…

I saw a picture of myself at Disneyland one Christmas and it finally clicked that the reason why it was such a struggle to get around / move was because of my weight. I've never looked back and never regretted making a change. My life is different now and for the better.

@motivatedmartha Yes!! Rubber Duckies on the Run! I will use the air rush to gather speed to propel me into tomorrow. *high-five* We'll conquer maintenance too!

Aaaaahh! Congrats! You look great and more important is that you sound great. Happy, excited, looking for the next adventure, and knowing that perseverance is key. I am glad to have walked alongside you on your journey this year. I know you'll slay the last 5-6 pounds and stay vigilant into maintenance. Good job! Celebrate!

If the choice is no coffee or slightly watered down weird coffee... my choice is pretty clear! Desperate times, desperate measures! Coffee is LIFE. I once would have said the thing I hate the most is the loss of ignorance. Of not knowing how many calories was in XYZ and how that affected me. Then again, I am a seeker of…

Wow!! That is amazing!

My rubber duckie floatie is my bane, so I can well relate (that and my belief that somehow I am poorly designed when viewed from behind). I'm GLAD your hard work surprised you! That's the greatest feeling!

I get this in my face these days. I'll feel like 'me' and when I look down at myself, I don't feel different (which is a different problem -- I have a lot of issues seeing me as a smaller me) but then I'll be making an expression and happen to catch it in a reflective surface and be startled. That's not me... is it?…

I have a pretty high NEAT and I am not a foodie, so I don't gravitate to restaurants, new foods, etc. I can eat the same thing over and over again if I need to, which is nice considering I have limited options in my cafeteria. I've never been a grazer, and I always hated feeling super full. I always said I could be happy…

This is profound and something I needed this week. Today. Tomorrow. Thank you for sharing.

I like your cat also! I love cats. All the cats. Ahem. Why I don't/didn't: * I'm lazy, and I'd love to fall back to being lazy. * Everyone tells me I am too skinny and shouldn't lose more. I could rest right where I am forever. Who'd ever know. (see point #1) * Everything in my closet fits, even if it doesn't give me the…

I had to go gluten free for medical reasons, and let me tell you. The first year, I gained. I had maintained my 80lb weight loss (+/- 8lbs) for 3 years (I'd taken a diet break to let myself settle into the new me and recomp) until I started having health issues. The health issues made my weight trend look like it was…

@motivatedmartha Thank you!

I have high social anxiety in venturing anywhere alone. I have a gym at work and it's a struggle to go even when it's only my coworkers, because I'm afraid I'm getting judged or side-eyed or whatever. Last week, I went all by myself (my usual work buddy was in a week long event) for three WHOLE times. I felt pretty…

I battled social anxiety last week to go to the gym (I only do strength/lifting at the gym) by myself as my gym partner was engaged in a work event. I felt good coming out of that week having gone three times! By myself! To lift! I did a size check last night at the mall (the electric company killed our internet which is…

The world is full of secretive paths through life. Some of them are best explored with a spirit of adventure to figure out what you enjoy doing and how you enjoy doing it. Inspiration for what will sustain you must come from within. Eat the things you enjoy, but moderate their bulk. Life is more than mere diet, but…
