I would try somewhere else or a different day.

I am 2 pounds from my final goal. I changed my diary goal to 40/30/30 carb/prot/fat. I have been a bad example this week but previous to that I was doing really well.

If you like her methodology, try Ripped in 30. It is much harder.

I used to take hot baths. At the time I had access to a pool also. I could go to the deep end with a belt and let my leg hang and try to relax itself. Good Luck.

I found it fun but not really useful for weight loss. I think I have gotton more benefit out of just buying a couple workout DVD's, a set of handweights and a stability ball. All for a total of about $50. Nice job with trying to get started.

I would suggest actually starting with a workout video from home that uses hand weights. Buy one set that you are slightly uncomfortable with. That was the best way for me to learn exercises that worked for me.

Try stretching quads before you start. It could be that you are just really tight in the quads. The bounce typically comes from power and energy.

Sounds like fun. My tips are: 1. Work on some cardio and strength training (videos, gym, whatever) 2. Change the % in the your diary to 40% carbs, 30% proteina dn 30% fat. 3. Follow your calorie counts and eat your exercise calories. Good Luck.

If VFF don't work for you, Merrel now makes a shoe that uses the same minimalist material as the FF but without the individual toes. There are a lot of minimal options out there now. Good Luck.

I love hummus and carrots and bell peppers as a snack. My favorite is guacamole hummus.

I know very skinning people that do yoga everyday and nothing else for exercise. So yes, it can happen. That being said, there are all sorts of yoga types out there and some burn more calories than other.

Sara Lee Classic Honey Wheat. Light and fluffy and slightly sweet. Only 60 calories a slice.

My screen name isn't as cryptic as it looks. My name is Chenoa and I am a chemist. Hence, Chenoa-Chem

Not sure where that is. I am moving to Perth Australia in August.

The best exercise programs for PS3 use the move and camera. The most fun I had exercising was using an animated Kung Fu game I downloaded. You can go and check out what demos there are to find something that interests you.

I always found weight to be dependant on to many factors; are your muscles retaining water to heal, did I gain more muscle this week.....whatever. However, I found that measurements were a great way to always show me what was going on. Great job!

It always looks so beautiful. There are times I miss the color green living in the desert. However, it does have its own beauty. I will have to post some pictures of my bike ride during the balloon festival last year with all the hot air balloons in the air.

The gym I have has arm bikes. I used them and went for walks right after my knee surgery a few years ago.

I have a polar ft60 and I wear it all the time. I figure if I am going to spend that much on a watch I am going to get as much use out of it as I can.

No, you are not mega unfit. Those are not bad distances. Heat and hydration usually play huge roles in what we accomplish. Take not of weather and what you eat/drink. See if you find any trends of when you feel better. It should be done at a comfortable pace so don't beat yourself up about the distance. Great job for…

There are a lot of different opinions about this in the dietary world. I have two books at home and they have opposing views and both with scientific studies. However, what has worked for me is reading and following a book called "The 4-Hour Body". You can buy it at most local book stores and all my local libraries carry…

Sometimes a really light workout like an easy stretch session or walk can warm up your muscles and you recover faster.
-
Up until a couple weeks ago I was like that. You can help yourself to mine. Edit: If you go to April or before on my food diary I was at 1600 calories a day consumed...or more. In May I switched down to 1300 to loose a few more pounds.

About 220 calories. See here. http://www.dairyqueen.com/us-en/eats-and-treats/nutrition-facts/

The most amazing views I ever saw on the east coast was on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Other than that I loved the end of the Apalacian trail in Georgia with the largest waterfall east of the Mississippi.

I used to go through lots of shoes until I got my VFF. Now I have 2: One for trail running (Sport Treks) and one for everything else (classics). Then sometimes I just use my own two feet. Those don't wear out. :)
-
I bought a belt and shopped clearance racks and second hand stores.

I used to get them all the time until I started doing workouts in minimalist/barefoot. I never have a problem anymore. I found my custom shoes were to controlling and forcing my body to fight against them. I let my body natural react to things now and all pain is gone.

I have heard that to but I think it is more about quality of sleep than quantity. I sleep only 6 hours a night (at most) and it hasn't slowed me down. Great job so far.
