  • Oh, I like any Pizza that I can pig out on and not feel guilty!!
  • I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved companion, Harley! I know how hard this can be. Just know that when you run today, that Harley is still running with you, tail wagging in the air the entire time. You have my deepest sympathy!
  • When I started this, I was 236, and couldn't even do two push ups. But I started with Jillian. The first circuit took me a while before I could even fill the time With the girly push ups, but I kept fighting and everyday I would try to beat the number that I did yesterday. I just took one workout at a time, and did the…
  • I definately see a change. You look slimmer and much more toned! Great job!
  • Yesterday I started my second round of 30DS. I did it back in March and LOVED it and LOVED the results. Thought I would crank it up again to get my body a bit more toned. Good Luck!
  • Pork roast in the crock pot with some Salsa and a packet of reduced Sodium McCormicks Taco Seasoning. Pork Taco (I will be making this tomorrow  )
  • I do a lot of premade foods and crock pot cooking. When ever I cook, if it is freezable, I double the recipe and freeze it in individual portions to have later. Right now, in my freezer i have: Chili Chicken Noodle Soup Chicken Wild Rice Soup Broccoli Soup Vegetable Soup Lasagna Soup Turkey Meatloaf Turkey Mini Tacos…
  • When it did 30DS i logged it as Circuit Training - General. THere is an Iphone and Ipad app out there called Calories Burned that gives you a calculator for a lot of at home DVD workouts.
  • Planks and more planks.
  • I am a Turbo Fire Junkie:) It is the first workout program that I can't wait to do each day. I am a little sad on my days off.
  • I did. It took me a real long time before I could see the weight loss in the mirror. Everybody was telling me how great I looked, but I just saw the same person. Sometimes it takes our mind to catch up. For me, I know it is a self esteem issue. That is why it took me so long. Keep at it, you will see it.
  • I did and still do Zumba once in a while. LOVE it! A very fun workout. If you can do Turbo Fire, you can handle Zumba! I loved that I would leave class a sweaty mess :) I started on the DVD's and they were great, but I think that a class is more motivating.
  • If she doesn't have any Zumba DVD's then the old ones would be a great place to start.
  • GREAT JOB! What a difference. You should be very proud of yourself!
  • Go to Zumbacalories.com, plug in your weight, your intensity level and time doing it. I know its not perfect, but it will give you some idea.
  • I made this the other day, although I think it is more like Chicken Pot Pie Filling, you could change up the Veggies to make it more stew like: Take 4 cups of Chicken Broth (I used Aldi Fit & Active All Natural broth) and put this in a pot. Reserve 1 cup for later. Add a 1/2 Bag of frozen Whole Kernel Corn and a 1/2 Bag of…
  • One individual serving of plain greek yogurt and 1/3 packet if Hidden Valley Ranch Dip.
  • I am so sorry that you are going through a tough time. We all have our trials that we go through and we must find a way to NOT turn to food and laziness to comfort ourselves. I was a horrible emotional eater (I probably still am a bit, but I am much better and I only have healthy foods to turn to). To start with, when I…
  • I haven't joined a gym yet and I exercise everyday. If you want to do it, you will find a way. No excuses.
  • Good Question! I would be interested in hearing others responses. I walk my dogs everyday, two to three times a day. Since I do this EVERYDAY, I only log about 1/3 of the time that I spend doing it. But when I am doing Turbo Fire, or playing Volleyball, or working up a good sweat, then I log every bit of it!
  • I have the Polor FT4. I didn't need too much, just want to keep an eye on my heart rate and get a better reading on the calories burned. This does everything that I need a HRM for.
  • I love TurboFire! I have been at it for about 2 months now. I enjoy each workout. I believe that I will come back to these workouts again and again since I enjoy doing them so much. Just be patient with yourself the first couple of weeks, until you get the routines down. But once you do, you will find yourself powering…
  • I am sending a friend request your way:smile:
  • LOVE IT! Worth the money. I takes a couple of times before you start to get the routines down, but once you do, it is a blast. Before you know it, you are already done and having fun while doing it. But remember to be patient at first.
  • I understand where you are coming from. I live alone and cook for 1 all of the time. I do alot of freezing of food, but it sounds like you don't have the room for that. My go to, last minute meal for 1 is any type of stir fry. I cook up what ever meat I have (beef, pork, chicken, shrimp) and toss it with some veggies. I…
  • I am sorry that I don't have before and after shots for you on the 30DS, but I had to comment, because I remember the pain! It goes away in a few days. I am thinking about doing it again, I liked the results so much! Good Luck!
  • This is a GREAT start to your journey. You should be really proud of yourself for taking this 1st step. It is always a little scary when we make big changes in our lives. But YOU CAN DO THIS!!! We all started somewhere! Welcome!
  • OMG! I LOVE shawarmas! Thank you so much for posting. I am going to go a little Shawarma CRAZY this week-end!
  • The very first exercise that I did was the 30DS. It absolutely changed the way that my body looked and I lost quite a bit of weight with it. For a short little workout, it is pretty darn effective. I would give it a try. I will give you some structure to the work out you have been trying to put together outside of the…
  • I cook lots of soups and freeze them. They are great in the winter for lunches at work. Chili, chicken noodle soup, tomato soup, broccoli soup; really almost any of your fav's will freeze well (although I have found that rice doesn't reheat real well). I also make mini lasagna's, mini meatloafs, mini taco's, stews,…
