  • I add it to my stir fry. Simple bit size pieces of veggies.
  • I started T25 yesterday, can I join the group? I am loving it so far
  • I started it yesterday and so far I LOVE it. I am a soaking wet mess when I am done, but it really feels like I got a good workout in just 25 mins. Yesterday, with the Cardio CD, I had to switch to the modifier about 1/2 way through, I couldn't take it anymore. Today, Speed 1.0, is much better. I was still a sweaty mess…
  • BUMP means Bring Up on My Page. People write bumb so that when they go to their own page, this will make this thread easy to find.
  • I take me excess zucchini, shred it, push out as much water as you can, lay it on a sheet of freezer wrap on a cookie sheet and freeze for an hour or so. Then you can scoop it off the freezer paper and put into freezer bags or freezer containers and have fresh zucchini all winter long. Then you don't have to eat it all at…
  • Please, Pick Me! Pick Me! I need to get my mojo back and this might just do the trick (because I am super competitive) so that ill motivate me.
  • Hello Fellow Katoian! Everyone's body is different. For me, I retain a lot of water in this excessive heat and humidity. Just stick with your plan, this is break in the next week or so (I wish it was NOW) and our bodies will go back to normal.

  • Ok - this one takes a bit of work, but I loved my grandmothers old fasioned Bean with Ham soup, so this one is always in my freezer! I love it! Take 2 bags of Great Norther Beans and soak them overnight in water at room temperature. In the morning I drain those, rinse them and then boil them for 45 minutes to an hour…
  • Ok - now with that same left over turkey, I whipped up a Turkey Veggie Soup (I made this recipe up, but it has become one of my favorites) Turkey Veggie Soup Put 6 cups of homemade Turkey Broth in a large pot. • Turkey Noodle Soup So, when turkey's go on sale (thanksgiving), I buy 3 or 4 of them to cook during the year. When I cook a turkey, I save all of the dark meat for soups and boil the carcuss to make broth. So that being said, here is the recipie, knowing that I already did this stuff: 8 cups of homemade Turkey stock (no…
  • Who Doesn't LOVE soup! I make large batches of soup and then freeze them in zip lock baggies (put into zip lock, lay flat on a cookie sheet, freeze, then they are easy to stack) in individual portions. The last time that I made soup, fresh veggies were out of season, so I did use some canned goods here, but this time of…
  • I don't run! And I have had great success. I only run when someone I fear is chasing me
  • I just ordered it the other day. I should be getting it in the mail sometime this week. Looks like fun!
  • Here are a few soup recipes that I have gathered from others on this web site! I have made most of these and they are delish. Again, the credit goes to others and their previous posts: Spicy Squash soup: • 1 butternut squash • 3 carrots • 1 onion • 1 and half pints veg stock • garlic puree cube squash and carrots (and…
  • I do this all of the time. For a Ranch Veggie Dip, Omit the milk! Its a nice thick bucket of Ranchy goodness.
  • Oh, yes, this happened to me. Just keep plugging away at it! It seemed like it was at least two months before I started to see a difference on the scale, in my clothes, and how I felt. But once I did, for many months the weight just dropped off of me. Granted, I had ALOT to loose! I am close to my goal now so it is much…

  • I'm 44. I started with MFP a little more than a year ago.
  • For me it's all mental weakness as well. When I am pushed hard, I am amazed at how much further I can go!
  • I know how you feel. When I first started here at MFP, I had horrible eating habits, virtually no exercise (except walking my doggies). It took me quite a while to find what worked for me. Logging EVERYTHING and not lieing to myself was the first step. If I was going to eat crap, then I was going to log crap. Once I was…
  • I have the Polar FT4 and I throw it in the washer every week when I do laundry. I just hang it overnight to dry. I have never thrown it in the dryer. I have had it for almost a year now with no problems.
  • You should be so proud of yourself! Great Job! (And great daughter!)
  • Hey! I am heading to Vegas in 2 weeks. I am liking what i am hearing. In my experience going there, I walk for hours on end and then we dance the night way. I am certain that whatever I take in, I will be burning off. I am also planning on taking my Resistance band to get a mini workout done in the mornings.
  • It doesn't have to be hard. I don't "follow" any diet or workout plan! I simply try to eat what I am suppose to comsume everyday, getting enough fruit, veggies, protein and grains and keep them with in a calorie limit. That is my food plan. My exercise plan is ... JUST MOVE! It really works, there is no science to it.
  • I have a love/hate relationship with Jillian. I love the changes she makes to my body, but I hate some of the things she asks me to do do. That being said, I have completed most of her DVDs! I started with 30DS, Loved it! Then Shed and Shred, it was good! Ripped in 30, Loved this one too! I have comlpeted Shred it with…

Yes Do you exercise but need a little extra motivation sometimes? YES Do you enjoy meeting new people and participating with a…
  • The 30DS would be pretty hard to do with one bum knee. CHeck it out on UTube and see if you think you can modify.
