touching moment

I just re started my diet and fitness program about 4 days ago. I have rheumatoid arthritis and the PT convinced me I needed to lose some weight. This is my body for the rest of my life and unfortunately RA is going to be part of that too. I have got to get some weight off to save my joints!!

So, last night, my 12 yo daughter Hannah and I went for a 30 min walk at a very good pace. When my timer beeped we were almost to our house. Hannah said, "C'mon mom JOG!" I laughed and shook my head. She said, "But I'd be so proud of you.." Well, I jogged the last block to the house. I nearly cried that I made my daughter proud!

I'm crying retelling this in fact. Means so much to have love and support during this time!

I nearly cried that I made my daughter proud!

Kids pick up on things like this so much better than adults. They can see and know how much it means to you.

    props.
