I have Turbo Fire and I love it! I never really have to talk myself into doing the workout. I look forward to it! It's not hard to catch on, and once you do, it is so much fun! Doesn't feel like a workout, but I am just dripping with sweat when I am done. I am still in the middle of it, so can't give you results yet, but…

Does anyone know if you can freeze spaghetti squash?

I did the 30 DS and I still pull it out and do at least one of the workouts once a week.I Didn't do it in 30 days. I play volleyball two nights a week and I always took a rest day, so I did it 4 days a week. I lost a pile load of weight during the program and really reshaped my body. (This is why I still pull it out and do…

I work in an office for 8-9 hours a day. I have been wearing a pedometer this last week due to a chanllenge our insurance company put out for us all to walk 10,000 steps a day. On an average day at work, I walk about 4,000 steps (i just learned since wearing this little device). I don't call or email anyone in my office, I…

Hello all! My name is Renee! I have been an member of MFP for about 5 1/2 to 6 months. My goal, by new years day, is to fit into a pair of pants that are only a single digit! I started this journey wearing size 24 pants, I am now at size 16/14 pants. I would LOVE it to get below a size 10. ^^^^^ Was what I posted at the…

I spent the majority of my life taking care of everyone else. I put everyone elses needs ahead of my own. As much as I like to help people, deep down I was a miserable wreck. About 2 years ago, I decided to put me first. I still do a lot for others, but only when I really want to and I really have the time. I take time for…

Funny, my SIL just said that to me this week-end. But I took it as "good Job" and keep up the healthy habits. I didn't take it as "you need to lose more weight".

7 lbs down is AMAZING! You should be really proud of yourself! This is a hard process (if it wasn't, everyone would be thin  ). Just take one day at a time, one meal at a time, one work out at a time. You will be just fine. The first major workout I did was the 30 DS. I was really out of shape and NOT fit and it was…

OMG PuggleLover! I am so glad to hear that you do not have cancer. What a burden you must have had and what a relief you must feel now. I am very glad that you will be my friend for more than 18 months! Congrats on your "ULTIMATE NSV"!!!!!!

I went down 6 pant sizes in the last 8 months. And I have to dress up everyday for work. So, I hit the local thrift stores and I dig and dig, each time I go. I end up with some fantastic outfits and usually only for a couple of bucks a piece. I may never shop retail again, now that I have discovered this :)

I am 5'7". I was a size 24W and am now a size 12 (might possible be a 10, but haven't purchased any pants that size yet). Good Luck!

I have a Polar FT4 from Amazon and love it. It was around $60.00 Do you need one? Probablly not. I got once because I have a family history of heart issues and I wanted to be able to monitor my heart while I am working out so that I am aware of where my heart rate is at and can adjust accordingly. For this, the $60 is well…

I started a kickboxing workout so that I could take out my frustrations on that (pretend I am kicking the person, project, problem) right in the butt! I usually feel much better when I am done and I can release the tension. Otherwise I sit there and stew or worry all night and can't seem to let it go.

Sounds Yummy!! I am going to have try this!

Almost anything! I cook a lot on Sunday's and portion things out for the week, both for lunch and dinner, with work, sports and working out, I don't have much time during the week (as I am sure with most people) I make a lot of soups and I freeze a few portions that I can pull one of them out in a few weeks (a bit of…

I meet my friends out all of the time, they order food, I rarely do. I actually don't care if they think it is rude, I am not spending my hard earned money on something that I don't want. I always still tip the waitress, even if I didn't get anything, just a dollar or two, because they usually do bring me something to…

I think that it depends on the exercise. I noticed that too, when I got my Polor FT4, the HRM showed way more calories that MFP, particularly on walking. I walk the dogs everyday and was amazed at the difference. Some of the other workouts, (circut training, aerobics) I have noticed that MFP was higher than my HRM. You are…

AWESOME Thank you! I plugged in my starting weight and my current weight first (because I know that there are changes, but my brain can't compute that yet). And then I plugged in my current weight and my goal weight. Makes me want to keep going! Thank you!

I use it and love it. However, I have always done DVD workouts (so as far as motivating yourself, Not sure that I can help). It takes a couple of times to figure out the moves, but once you do, it is so much fun. I look forward to doing it most nights.

I hear ya Jenn! Up until about a month ago, I was the "big" one in my group of friends. I discovered about a month ago that I am now wearing clothes smaller than all of my friends. Somewhere along the line, that switched and I didn't notice how dramatically until then. It takes some time for our minds to catch up to our…
