  • You can do it...Don't get frustrated when the scale doesn't move...Be sure to check your measurments as well. Sometimes the scale doesn't move, but you may lose inches. I highly recommend checking those measurements:drinker: :flowerforyou:
  • That's what I thought...There's no use in spending well over $100.00 for an outfit that may not...WILL not fit me in a month...I'm planning to go back shopping this week to see if I can find something cheaper...I want to look good at Easter, but I don't want to throw money away either...
  • when you can shop for smaller sizes. I went to the mall over the weekend and, even though I didn't buy a new outfit, it was still fun shopping for a smaller size. I am normally buying a size 14 skirt. After losing 16 pounds, I was able to put on a size 8 skirt. :noway: :drinker: I was so excited and my motivation shot…
  • I am dropping a pound a week and I am losing a 1/4 inch off my hips each week. My frustration, though, is that I'm not losing anything from my waist or my bust line. :grumble: Any suggestions on how to get the tape measure to "move"? I've started doing crunches and I'm using 3 pound weights when I do my power mile…
  • OMG!!! I have a sister, who this past weekend, told me that she started to call me and ask me what kind of Krispy Kreme Donuts I wanted. She wasn't going to bring me any, she was just taunting me. I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP...I've lost 15 pounds so far, yes, it is coming off slow, but isn't that what it's supposed to do? I…

  • A little bit lengthy... Okay, so everybody thought this was going to be one of those threads where I'm complaining about not seeing the scales move or not losing. Well, it' s not. This is a different kind of frustration. First of all, I'm not trying to lose weight to be in competition with anybody else, I'm not doing it so…

  • The thing that caught my eye the most was that McDonald's received a B+. That info was in a separate article.

  • I am a qualified teacher who is patiently waiting for a teaching job to open up in my area. One day while I was substitute teaching, I so desperately wanted to walk. I couldn't go outside and the students were gone to computer lab and P. E. I was stuck in the room for 1 hour. In the room there is a petition that separates…

  • I'm not very good right now at knowing what is considered to be cardio and what is considered to be strength training. I have stairs in my house and I will walk up and down 5 times each rep. Is this considered to be cardio, it does get my heart pumping, or would it be considered strength training, I am using the muscles in…

  • I was wondering the same thing...I bought one of those pedometers that tells how many calories are burned by counting your steps, but I'm not sure how accurate it is. It seems to me that the pedometer "clicks" too much for it to be accurate.
  • Congratulations! Keep up the good work!!:drinker:
  • I just graduated last May and when I was in college our advisor told us that she would recommend that we not take a job that has more than a forty-five minute drive. She told us that it would lead to burn out and it would lead to us not wanting to do what we went to college for. If you can afford to take a cut in pay, I…
