Veggies are your friends, eat more veggies :) Also, you will be hungry to a certain point. You are giving your body less food than it needs so it will burn your stores. That involves a little hunger. If you are truly having trouble at the rate of losing 1 ib a week, then try dropping to .5 instead. I know slower sucks, but…

Pack your lunch. Coming from a fellow night shift worker, you aren't goinng to have too many healthy, or low calorie options to eat out during that time frame. Pack your lunch and take it with you. Buy an insulated lunch box if there is no fridge. You will do better packing than eating out that time if night

If you are at a healthy weight, why lose more? Just maintain and enjoy, and eat in moderation.

Juicers are overrated, I like to eat my calories, especially if I have to restrict them. You probably don't have to completely change the way you eat. Just less food and more fresh veggies and fruits. Avoiding sugar helps. I live in a small town and can't get ahold of all the fancy foods haha. And I've done fine. I've…

You said you need help with dieting, so what would you like to know? And I feel you. It would be totally awesome if we could lose it as easily as we gained it.

Cheese!!!! Sharp cheddar and turkey Swiss and roast beef Those are my two favorite snacks of all time and they are carb free/low carb depending on brand of meat you buy and whether it has added sugar.

Fats and proteins make you feel more full than carbs do. Fats do not make you fat Carbs do not make you fat. Too much food makes you fat. I find it a lot easier to stay within a reasonable calorie range if I get most of my calories from protein, fiber, and fat than I do when I eat mostly refined carbs. I miss them a lot,…

I just say, burn an extra 100 to 200 calories a day during the week in exercise and don't eat it back on those days. Then you still have an extra wiggle room of 500 to 1000 extra calories on the weekend. I know it goes against what most people in here think to not eat exercise calories back, but it WILL give you a little…

It took about forty or so pounds for those in my every day life to notice. People who lived further away from me noticed immediately, long before that mark. Remember, weight loss happens slowly. It may just be a slow enough change that those around you won't notice until it finally dawns on them one day, or until they see…

Somewhere between 0% and 100% Seriously. As long as you have a calorie deficit you will lose weight. You will, however stay full longer the less simple carbs you eat.

Most diet pills contain b vitamins and caffeine. Drinking a cup of coffee and taking a multivitamin is cheaper. The only over the counter exception I know of is alli, which blocks a percentage of the fat you eat. It can have some nasty side effects. Doctors can prescribe phentermine hcl, which is basically legalized speed.…

Which is more important? Faster weight loss or taking care of your joints? Your body needs some fat. Yes, it's higher in calories, it's also more filling. You can lose weight at a slower pace, but you can rarely fix joints after you mess them up. I suggest going to a doctor and discussing your joint issues with him. Mine…

Not that I know of, but depending on your pedometer you may be able to sync it with MFP My fitbit flex syncs with MFP and adjusts the calories for me

Do that if you are wanting to completely cut out those foods you mentioned. What I do is eat a few calories less a day the week before so I have a little more wiggle worm to indulge those cravings when they do strike without stalling weight loss. I know, realistically, I am not going the rest of my life without Godiva dark…

You will stay on track when you truly WANT to stay on track. I plan my meals at the beginning of a day to make sure I won't go over. I make exercise a priority. This is because I want to lose weight more than I want to overeat That's it. When you truly want to stay on track, you will.

If a craving is bad, I eat exactly what I am craving. I end up eating less that way than if I tried to eat a "healthier" alternative. Once I actually get what I am craving, I don't want as much, If I get rid of a chocolate craving with my dark Lindt chocolate, I only want a square or two. If I try to have a mini size…

A doctor or a nutritionist might be the best person to ask that.

Yes and yes. I was crazy enough to walk around with it synced to my phone and see if the steps were registering correctly :). It had too many when I had it on my right wrist, and just the right amount on my left.

Attention guys: If your woman loved this book, you're probably doing wrong. Seriously, I don't get what is so exciting about 50 shades, Or how exactly they are going to take that book and make it into a movie, will half the movie be her biting her lip?

Uh yeah! Anything that makes you healthier usually increases your libido... You are more physically fit so you can enjoy it more, therefore want it more. Also...seeing hot guys at the gym working out doesn't hurt a woman's libido either.....

Maybe I should have said those who are eating 1200 calories BY CHOICE To lose weight are most likely to eat long before a VLCD does damage to their body? I thought that was a pretty much implied Sorry for the confusion. YES, people are living off of less every day, and yes, I am sure, given the opportunity, they would eat…

I sync when I get back from the gym in the morning so it will adjust my calories on here and give me an estimate of what I can eat that day. If you sync, I would not log your exercise on here, the Fitbit does that for you. I log my food on MFP, because the food database is a lot better, it still shows up in the Fitbit app.…

It happens if I push waaaaaay past a normal workout. Your body is getting used to the running. Cut back on distance or speed a bit and see if it doesn't make the nausea go away. You should not be getting like that after every single run. Only once in a while if you really really pushed yourself. You may be pushing your…

Listen to your body. It tells you when it needs food. Your cravings that won't go away don't pop up for no reason. You might be craving scrambled eggs because you need more protein. (A site is a general rule of thumb, not a personalized breakdown of what you need nutritionally personally based on yr health and activity.)…

That! Is awesome!!!

If you were slightly dehydrated, you could be getting an electrolyte you needed and simply gained three pounds in water. Vitamins will not make you fat, that's just not logical. Also weighing every day will make you go insane. Your weight can fluctuate a lot just from water day to day....

Dark chocolate IS healthy. I don't understand the question? The healthiest way I know to eat chocolate is to not eat too much of it. A little bit of chocolate is not in any way "unhealthy" Eating an entire bag of Reese's or snickers? Yeah, that might be a little unhealthy, but simply eating chocolate is not inherently…

The whole going below 1200 calories argument seems a little moot anyways. Seriously, how many people keep that sort of diet up for long to begin with? It works if you dip below 1200, and it will take time to cause damage, but chances are, you are going to eat something long before you ever get to the point it damages your…

My suggestion is to quit worrying about the amount of calories burned and exercise for the health benefits, not to be able to eat more. Figuring out how many calories you burn is complete guesswork, pretty much no matter how you do it. The general rule with running is .72x(your weight) per mile ran. There is one for waking…
