Oh and the longer I stay on this diet, the more I start to lose cravings for super starchy foods. The thought of eating a potato kind of makes me feel uneasy... and I LOVE potatoes. Pizza is still a weakness because of all that cheese. Since we can eat all the cheese we want to on this diet, it still makes my mouth water.

I JUST finished reading through all of the posts so here is what I have to say in reply to everything I've read: To get into Ketosis: Pretty basic, anything below 100g carbs/day is considered low enough to get your body into Ketosis. However, everybody's body reacts slightly differently so you should adjust accordingly as…

I haven't read any of your posts yet, but I know this post is for me. I've been Keto for 6 weeks now. I've also lost 20 lbs and 2" around my waist. At this point, I'd consider myself a Keto hero. I just finished reading Lyle McDonald's "The Ketogenic Diet", an awesome read for anyone currently on or considering taking up…

I don't grunt, I moan. Far more effective.

You wouldn't go and inch out of your way to help your own kid? ****ed up.

Don't listen to these haters, you CAN spot reduce! You keep on doing your own thing and say "**** everybody else!"

Simple: An uninfected vagina.

Definitely the most humorous MFP thread I've seen all week -- and I have no life outside of MFP.

Definitely agree with you, many people on here suck. Basically the reason why I stopped trying in the forums at this point.

"...Most dieters tend to drop calories extremely low based on the idea that the greater the deficit, the more weight that will be lost. Up to a point this appears to be true, in that greater caloric restriction yields greater fat loss. However this ignores the potential effects of extreme caloric restriction on metabolic…

I'm 22, I log each day -- everybody can add me if they so choose =]

I switched to Pepsi and my credit score went up.

What's your routine like in the gym? Start trying new things to break your plateau. That's what I did, I just recently broke my plateau about 5 weeks ago after being stuck for several months. Now it's just surgical planning when it comes to my daily meals. Each person reacts differently to different eating styles so maybe…

Yeah, except I don't beat my meat to my MFP friends. I prefer more "animated" media, if you will.

I'm not too sure what you're saying/asking but when you go low carb, you don't get as much fiber in your diet so you don't utilize the bathroom as much as before. Hopefully I answered your question?

I've been on a low carb diet for 5 weeks now and have seen ridiculous results. I'm currently on the Cyclical Ketogenic Diet, as I saw a poster before mention. Currently, my carb intake is less than 30g/day but once a week I do carb-load for about 30 hours or so. Won't get into the science behind it but I pretty much take…

Or you could go completely Keto and all of your problems will be solved =]

They will shrink and form to fit once you near your goal weight. Keep on that cardio and don't lose sight! Although there's nothing you can do to make them immediately smaller, you'll look perfect once you reach the finish line.

I've been tinkering with this spreadsheet more and more and I must say that this is brilliant! I'm extremely big into spreadsheets and never actually thought to make one with calculations such as this! Thank you so much!

I'm going to reply as soon as I install tor so I can watch this video. Unfortunately, if you don't live in the UK then you can't watch anything on BBC's iPlayer =[

Agreed, I take Glucosamine as well and it saves me... One last time in caps for effect: That's: GLUCOSAMINE CHONDROITIN -- any local store that sells vitamins. If you can get to a commissary, they seem to sell it the cheapest. It'll take a couple of weeks but then you'll feel wonderful.
-
I 100% agree with you. I've been doing the Cyclical Ketogenic Diet for a few weeks now and have broken every plateau I've hit as well as made significant progress. I'm taking in <30g of carbs/day and allow myself a 30 hour period on the weekend to replenish my glycogen stores. I'm also heavy into power lifting as well as…

Just remember: eat out, not pig out. Very simple, go out and enjoy the nice dinners with family/friends/whoever -- have a couple drinks and eat to enjoy, not to kill yourself.

GNC is pretty much a ridiculously priced store. You're better off ordering your CLA online. I go with Amazon, BodyBuilding, or MuscleAndStrength (the typical online stores, you know how it is).

Go with one of the Inov-8's! I prefer them over the Vibram 5 fingers for two reasons: 1) I think they are more fashionable; 2) they're very lightweight and thin -- no worries about destroying your feet on gravel. I'm a sprinter, I don't really do too much distance running but from what I've heard from other people, they do…

Inspiring. Seriously.

MSN needs to start making changes and stop making excuses!

Yeah it used to never go off, then one day a bunch of guys in suits toured the gym and now it goes off almost every time I'm in there. The BEST Planet Fitness I've ever been to is in South Yarmouth, MA... It's like a real gym disguised as a Planet Fitness. You can be as obnoxious as you want and they don't care. They also…

Don't forget the free pizza on the first Monday of each month!

Planet Fitness is one of the worst gyms in the world. I've actually been acquainted with the founder and I'm pretty sure everything they have going on in the Planet Fitness culture is just to maximize profit. It's an ingenious business plan, honestly... Anyways... I consider Planet Fitness to be the most judgmental place I…
