I chart my cycles, so I pretty much know to the day when I ovulate and know to expect AF about 13 days later. I always spot a little the evening before, and I appreciate the warning.

I suddenly developed high blood pressure after losing weight and exercising for a few years. Dietary changes, supplements, nothing helped. I was young, no risk factors or family history. A real mystery. Going on medication may have saved my life, but I was very resistant at first. Good luck to you!

Congrats on your loss so far! There have been times when I dropped weight but felt like I looked flabbier. Whether it was loose skin or worse cellulite or whatever it may be. It's temporary- things tighten up eventually.

I have four, this is my favorite so far.

Preferably a REPUTABLE one. Not the kind of place that will ink a guy's taint when he's drunk. (Good lord!)

I'm 6'. Currently maintaining at around 177lbs; my heaviest non-pregnant weight was about 220. Being tall can be annoying sometimes, like when I knock my head on things that other people walk under easily or when I have to shop for clothes. I've never owned a ladies' coat that covered my wrists. Lol! Favorite thing is that…

300-500 calories a day is a good estimate if you're exclusively breastfeeding. Personally, my milk supply never seemed to be affected by exercise or being in a caloric deficit, but some women notice a drop in supply or fussiness in their baby if they don't eat enough. Generally you don't want to do anything to try to drop…

My youngest is six months old, but I'm an old mom, lol! I always love Mom friends, though, so add me! :)

Good ideas here! I have zero confidence with cooking fish of any kind, so thanks!

I'm a SAHM of nine- eight still at home. I know your frustration! The solution really depends on what your goals are. What's the top one or two changes you would like to make? Biggest mistake I made was trying to change too many things at once- that adds stress and makes achieving your goals even harder.

My husband is a trucker. He just recently got a camp stove so he can cook in the truck. It burns these little bottles of butane that are not expensive at all. He used to cook in a rice cooker or electric pot, but the gas stove is much quicker. He also has a cooler that plugs in so he can keep some things that need…

I'm almost 40, mom of nine. I used to homeschool the kids, but I fired myself. ;)

One of my pregnancies I craved instant mashed potatoes. With another I lived on cool ranch Doritos through the weeks I had morning sickness- that was the only thing I could stand to eat. Also sandwiches made with spicy pickles, American cheese, and mustard or a PBJ with Black Forest ham (still a favorite of mine).

Take videos of yourself even if you don't share with anybody. It really is the only way to check your own form. Try to get shots from the front and side. :)

Mind Pump if you don't mind profanity and some raunchy chit chat.

Ginger never was good for me but mints helped, to an extent. Your doctor might have other suggestions. Only thing that ever helped me was just sleeping or staying busy/distracted as much as possible and getting through it to the second trimester. Congratulations!!

I have nine kids ages 20 years to 6 months. Long time MFP user, and I love it! Feel free to add me :)

I feed a family of ten. Lots of good advice above, many are things I also do. One tip I have that I didn't see mentioned already is to "shop the pantry" every so often. About once every 4-5 weeks, I skip regular shopping and use up what I have in the freezer and pantry, only buying maybe milk and school lunch foods that…

I'm offering a special prayer for all of us today. DH is leaving tomorrow (truck driver) and won't be back until close to Easter. I'm feeling sad about that; he hasn't been out such a long stretch since last year, but we could use the money. Praying for encouragement for all of us.

Sending FR.

My post got cut off. Oh, well, lol!

I just had our 9th.

Sounds yum, thanks for sharing!

I'm planning to use this program to get back to running. Haven't set a start date yet, but if anybody is planning to start soon and wants to be buddies, please send me PM or FR! :-)

Hi from Ontonagon county!

I was up at 0430 today and it is now my goal in life to never, ever have to get up at that hour again. Lol!

I'd love to add some Mom friends! My youngest is two weeks old. I'm going to be waning to lose about 30 pounds once I have my doctor's OK.

I'm a six-foot tall female, very active (average 13,000+ steps a day plus weight training regularly) and I'm currently pregnant. So I'm eating approx 2500 or more calories every day. Obviously, I'm not restricting right now. Your post is interesting to me because I used to assume it is easier for smaller/petite women to…

Thanks for the feedback. :) It's good advice for me to focus on logging right now, that's a helpful reminder. I was doing well with my food log until this week.

The "cure" didn't happen for me. In fact, I developed chronic hypertension AFTER I lost sixty pounds and was exercising five days a week. Go figure. I was resistant to going on medication, so I tried everything. Juicing, garlic, niacin, chiropractic, massage, yoga, fasting, more alternatives than I could name. My pressure…
