You've come to the right place! Stick with it and you'll grow to love it. Been on here for over a year and I know it has helped me achieve the lifestyle change I desperately needed. All the best to you! Here to offer support when you need it, feel free to add me.

Agree with the above. And it means you're getting stronger and building muscle. Way to go, keep up the great work!

Non-scale victory. I had to ask first time I heard it too. :)

^ lol!!! Seriously, the more you do, the easier it gets and you"ll want to keep doing it once you see the results. Give it a go!

It's a DVD workout by Jillian Michaels. I did it and loved it. It's a 3 phase program, 10 days each phase. :)

I bet that's pretty close, but everyone burns differently. You might want to get a heart rate monitor to know for sure.

I'm in! Just finishing week 1 tomorrow. Let's go! :)

 looks like the Psycho and I posted at the same time :) Therefore I am Not guilty on ALL of the above,.
-
guilty of all the above! and... wanting to punch the monitor when someone says they have trouble getting in 1200 calories a day! :)
-
I'll second that! :)

Congratulations to you! That's awesome!

Congratulations my dear friend. You have motivated me more than anything (and kick me in the a-- when i deserve it) and I am so proud of you! :)

and if you're adjusting your calorie intake to TDEE less 20%, do not eat back your exercise calories as exercise has already been factored in to your TDEE. Correct me if I'm wrong on that folks, but that's how I understand it. :)

You are a very cute girl, tell them to go pound it!

2008 Acura RDX Love it!

I range anywhere from 2 to 5 lbs. Shows on the scale a few days before and then usually back to normal 3 days into TOM. Everyone is different though, some girls retain before, during and a little after.

Welcome to MFP! This is a great resource for nutrition and fitness info and the calorie tracking is a wonderful tool, I know I couldn't have done what I have this far without it. My 45 year old back gives me grief sometimes too so it's not always an age thing. :) Good on ya for staying fit, I hope to stay as active and…

I just finished level one yesterday. The scale didn't move, but I lost some inches and have noticed a difference in my shape. Stick with it, it does work. Hang in there! :).
-
I'm pretty excited to be starting level 2 tonight, I saw some results from level 1 so it's motivated me big time! Good luck everyone!

After 30 DS I'm going to attempt Jillian's Ripped in 30.

I wouldn't worry about it at all, when you gotta go, you gotta go. :) Unless it looks irregular or is painful, or doesn't stop (then see a dr), your body's just doing it's thing. I noticed a change in frequency when I increased my water intake as well.

No need to bypass Wendy's if you order a small chili (no cheese) and pour it on a side garden salad (no dressing). Only about 240 cals, yummy and satisfying. :)

I hear ya! I felt I worked harder than yesterday when I only burned 186. Today was 170. Wtf? I leave the Hrm on until on heart rate gets down to 100. And I only averaged 121 heart rate, in the zone for 20 min, and I was puffin. Wondering if the fact I have low blood pressure (90/60) has anything to do with it? Argh.

My goal is to be down 5 lbs and complete the 30 day Shred by the end of May. Good luck everyone!

Hi, I'm Marianne from Calgary Alberta Canada. This will be my 2nd kick at 30DS. First time I got half way through level 2 before my player ate my DVD. Used that as an excuse to not continue (duh). It is a great workout and you'll definitely see results. Excited to get back on track! Good luck to all!
