Everyone feel free to add :) It's great to have everyone's support, but I agree that I bit a bit more comfortable with other ladies. MFP is a great place!

These things happen. As you said, just get back on the horse. But I wouldn't worry about getting stricter with yourself. I know for me, the thought of never having a cookie or ice cream or whatever again sends me straight to the fridge! Work in some treats on the regular and focus on the long haul. Good luck! MFP is a…

I think this is definitely affecting me. Even after trying to scope out menus, avoiding sauces, and skipping dessert, the scale isn't budging. I'm at a plateau around halfway to my goal, and it's so frustrating. I really can't avoid restaurants and events though because of what I do. Any strategies???

it sounds like you already have a good idea of what caused the speed bump (stress) and now you know more about what to do in similar situations in the future. load up with healthy choices around times you think you might feel similar. also, remember in the grand scheme of things, it probably wasn't THAT many calories. log…

i started at 145 around jan 15th and just weighed in at 137 this past weekend. only about 8 pounds so far, but pretty much on pace with the one pound a week plan. i fell off the MFP wagon for a few weeks in mid-february, and even though i thought i was being healthy, i didn't lose any weight! it really reminded me how much…

feel free to add me! i've been on MFP for awhile and still haven't managed the "pals" part!

pasta and bread with butter and cheese... and chocolate, and cookies, and (weirdly) trail mix. measuring, portions, and MFP calorie "sticker shock" have helped, though
-
it's hard!!! you can definitely do it, though. I think the slow and steady approach is the best, so trying cutting out (or adding in) one little thing a week, like a few exercises during tv time in addition to any other work outs. I recently fell off the wagon, too, so I thank you for this post! good luck!!!

chocolate, bread, mexican, mac and cheese, the list goes on. just trying to focus on enjoying them in very small portions. not exactly easy, though...
